Moving On

The demon was charging, full force at Alex, who was preparing to defend himself.

"Jump right!" Kayne called out. In the few seconds Alex took to process and listen to the action, the demon was almost on top of him.

Alex saw one of Blaise's kutsarigama flying towards him. He caught it, then kicked off of a rock stalagmite to send himself towards the rest of the group. The demon crashed into where Alex had been moments ago, roaring furiously.

"Felix!"

The swordsman dashed forwards, slashing open the demon's left calf, then getting hit by a forearm and going flying. Alex watched as his friend soared away from the rest of them. He wasn't fast enough to try and catch him.

Gwyn was. He managed to jump and grab Felix midair, both landing in a heap on the solid ground, making an "Oomph!" sound.

Kayne shot an arrow from his perch on top of a rather tall stalagmite, "Blaise and Alex, go!" He shouted the order. The three girls looked helpless, Arete followed Alex and Blaise in their charge.

"Arete!" Gwyn shouted, disagreeing with her choice to attack too, the other two were weaponless, which was something that needed to change.

Blaise took left, Alex took right, Arete ran up the center, lifting the sword she had stolen from Chance to block the demon's whip. She also distracted it long enough for Alex to jump up onto some boulders, then across in front of it, slashing it's nose open. Blaise threw one of his blades, wrapping it around the whip hand of the demon, slashing a shallow cut all the way around its wrist.

"MORTALS WERE MADE TO DIE!" Eligos roared, pulling his arm, lifting Blaise off the ground, and throwing him into Ava. She hit her head hard on the ground as he landed on top of her.

"I-I'm sorry," He muttered, as he got up slowly. Ava grunted her response.

"Ava!" Aurora fell to her knees, cradling her head on her lap.

Blaise returned to the fight, a bit slower than before. His entire body was sore after that landing.

Eligos grabbed Alex who had just landed on another rock, and slammed him into a stalagmite, shattering it.

"Alex!" Kayne shouted, then fired an arrow directly into the greater demon's eye.

"AH! YOU GODDAMN MORTAL! YOU SHALL PAY FOR THIS!" Eligos screamed, holding his eye, blood soaking his arm from the wound on his nose.

Kayne jumped from his position as Eligos punched wrapped his whip around it, then broke it in half. He landed in a roll then fired another arrow, which pierced into the demon's hand, and into his eye again. It screamed out again in pain.

"Gwyn, back! Felix distract!" Kayne called out, running to dodge the flailing whip of Eligos. It wrapped around his leg and pulled him down, then lifted him into the air, and back down, hitting his head on the ground hard, knocking him out, blood pooling under his head.

Blaise threw his blade, severing the end of the whip from the rest, allowing Kayne's body to not get flung around any more.

"Arete! Protect him!" Blaise shouted out, pulling her back from the still flailing demon. He once again threw the kutsarigama and wrapped it around Eligos's wrist, but this time stuck the other end into a massive stone pillar, wrapping around it a couple times first.

Felix blocked the whip that was now slightly shorted because of Blaise, but still flying around at dangerous speeds. Eligos was infused with rage, his eye was bleeding, his nose was bleeding, his wrist and calf were also bleeding. They all needed to die.
