"So, first off, how do you grow horns and shit?" Gwyn asked from his spot in the chair.

The whole group of them had gathered, girlfriends too. Aurora sat right next to Alex, on the couch, Blaise and Arete were against the wall on the floor, Gwyn was in the chair, Felix was in front of the T.V. Kayne sat alone in the middle of the living room, and Chance was with whoever his girl was on the perpendicular wall of Blaise.

"Well, my father, is Hades," Alex said, not meeting anyone else in the eye. A few gasps came from a few of them, but other than that, no noise was made.

"So, the dude-demon-y thing that came for us while we were camping, was sent by Hades?"

"Yes."

Gwyn glanced at the others, they were all silently thinking, "Alright, so why'd you leave the underworld if Hades is your father and he clearly wants you back?"

"He was abusive. Never paid any attention to me except when he beating me for doing something wrong."

Aurora took Alex by the cheek and gently kissed his other one, "I'm so sorry," she whispered.

"But if he never actually paid attention to you, why does he want you back?"

"I dunno, probably so that he can continue his work or whatever on me," Alex hugged Aurora to him, still staring at the floor.

"Will he be coming again?" Gwyn's eyes bore into Alex's eyes, although Alex didn't meet them.

"Yes."

"Oh shit," Blaise rubbed his face, a worried expression on his face.

"How are we going to stop them?" Gwyn asked, totally ignoring Blaise's comment.

"I have no clue," Alex sighed.

"Fighting, clearly," Chance put in, "Look, we're all strong, and I figure we have at least a little bit of experience with weapons. I've got a sword my friend gave to me at home, so there's one form of protection.

"You sword fight?" Kayne looked surprised.

"Yeah, I uh, took a few lessons a couple years ago, got the hang of it," Chance shrugged.

Gwyn looked more surprised than Kayne, "You don't seem like the fighting type."

"Neither do you, but yet you fought, and probably won, against Emerson and his lackeys," Chance replied.

Gwyn thought then nodded his agreement, "But what are we even going to be fighting against?"

"Demons, hell-hounds, stuff like that," Alex answered, "And going on the weapon thing, is there a place to buy them here, I've got nine drachmas to sell and could probably buy a couple nice one."

"Drachmas?" Chance stared blankly at Alex.

"Yeah, money from the underworld, Hades had a lot and I stole some a few times."

Chance face palmed, but didn't argue.

"Where can I sell them?" Alex asked Gwyn.

"There's a pawn shop in downtown that'll probably buy them."

"Then a weapons shop?"

"Also one downtown."

Alex smiled weakly at Gwyn, then stood to retrieve his satchel that held them.

"The last time I sold one of your drachmas, you got kinda upset," Gwyn stated, watching Alex.

"That was when I wasn't ready to let go of the underworld, I've moved on now," Alex retrieved them from his bag, counting out nine, "Let's go get some money."
