The rest of the school day was a blur, moving from class to class. Gwyn and Alex only shared a total of five out of seven classes together. The other two, Gwyn showed Alex where the room was, but now, it was 3:15, and classes were over.

Alex shut his locker, placing the single book he had gotten--an algebra 2 book, from last hour-- and then shut it. Gwyn was leaning against the locker next to Alex's, causing the latter boy to jump when he saw Gwyn, for he wasn't expecting a face to be right in his line of vision as he pulled away from his locker.

"GAH!" Alex took a step, running into the blonde dude again.

"Back off pip-squeak," the jock growled, shoving Alex away from him, placing an arm around the short brunette next to him. She had a gentle face and warm smile as she waved to Alex.

"Hello," her delicate voice said, "sorry about Emerson here, he's a little bit, ah, hard to get used to, I promise he's not that bad," she smiled.

Alex smiled back, "Sure."

"Cybele, please, don't talk to this guy, he's' an asshat," blonde, apparently called Emerson, growled out.

"Just because he insulted you doesn't mean he's a bad person," she smiled, then poked his nose, "besides, you started it."

Emerson pulled away from her finger and rolled his eyes, "Whatever, let's go," and he led her away. Alex watched as they walked away. The petite body next to the muscular one was rather amusing.

"I wouldn't suggest staring at her too much, he might shank you," Gwyn warned. Alex ignored this warning.

"How did he get such a kind, warm-hearted girl?"

Gwyn sighed, "Opposites attract. Now c'mon, we gotta go get you some clothes that'll make you look good and not like a hippie."

"A hippie? What is that?"

Gwyn laughed, patting Alex's shoulder as he began walking down the hallway, heading towards the school exit so they could go get some items that would be necessary for Alex to get by with.

"What do you think?" Alex asked Gwyn, who stood looking at his friend, nodding his approval. Alex now wore a pair of black skinny jeans, male combat boots, a blue t shirt that read 'I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right' in white print. A thin, hood-less, black sweatshirt over that, the collar pulled up around his neck.

"That looks nice, now go get like four other things of everything and call it good," Gwyn said, plopping down on the floor.

"What's this?" Alex asked, pulling out a shirt that read "Pikachu! I choose you!" printed across the top with a yellow animal below it.

"Pokemon. Show that you're a nerd. Get it," Gwyn chuckled.

"Alright," Alex took it, grabbing three other t-shirts with quotes on them. Then he went and got a dark blue, two grays (one lighter and one darker and faded), and another black pair of skinny jeans, checking the size before taking them. Lastly, he went and grabbed a hooded black sweatshirt, a gray one, and two other ones that were like the original one, "Now what?" He asked, placing the clothes in the cart.

"School supplies. A pack of clicky pencils, eraser, binder, folders and papers. Oh, and lead," Gwyn replied, leading the way across the store for the different items.

"Whatever those are," Alex mumbled.

They arrived, and Gwyn picked up a pack of about ten 0.9 pencils and a small pink eraser, throwing them into the cart before moving to a different aisle that contained folders, binders, and notebooks.
