Alex tightened the strap on the bottom of his helmet, pulling till it slightly dug into his lower chin, the mouth guard already within his mouth.

"You ready?" Blaise grinned as he placed his own helmet on his head.

Alex shrugged. Talking with the mouth guard was really difficult, so he didn't do it.

"Alright Team!" Coach called to the team as they stood on the sidelines of the football field, "We're going against the Adynamos Giants, but they're defense is easily breakable, and their offense is very laid back and not aggressive. We have this game in the bag as long as everyone keeps their head in the game, and as long as we stay strong. Don't get cocky and don't lose focus," the team murmured their agreements, "Now let's go out there and win this thing," Coach was starting to raise his voice, then he placed his hand in the middle, and all the players put theirs on top "ONE! TWO! THREE! TEAM!"

The starting lineup jogged to their positions on the fifty. Their opponent was kicking the ball to them to start the game. Alex took his spot near the field goal, Blaise was a few yards up; as was Gwyn. Kayne started on the sidelines.

A whistle rang out and the players began to move. The other team gave a solid kick straight to the back, Alex took a few quick steps to the right, catching the ball.

As soon as his arms made contact with the ball, Alex dashed forwards. He felt the feet pounding in the ground as he made his way towards the end-zone. A white and blue person appeared almost directly in front of him, and Alex prepared to have to dodge, but the black, red, and yellow uniform of a fellow Warrior soon blocked out the white of the opponent, allowing Alex to continue running, undisturbed.

With a trail of apposing players and friends on his tail, Alex got closer and closer to the end-zone. In his peripheral vision, he saw a flash of blonde and pink. Distracted, Alex's head turned to the side, which in turn caused him to slow down. Not seeing what had distracted by, Alex didn't have the time to find whatever it had been, because enemy players had tackled him down to the ground, and his vision was blocked out by their warm bodies.

Whistles rung out, and they removed themselves from on top of him, Blaise appeared above him, offering a hand. Alex took the hand and got up, the two teams took their positions on the field.

The quarterback called out a few things, then "HUT!" and the ball was snapped back into the boy's hands, a rather (surprisingly) unpopular player who went by Chance, although his full name was Chancellor.

Alex dashed forward, trying to get in position to assist with the touchdown, but Chance ran through the defense, and scored the touchdown. The team ran up to him, surrounding him and cheering. First touchdown and they still had ten minutes of this quarter left.

Running back to the fifty, everyone got in their places to kick the ball to the opposing team, the many smaller guys that were strong offense were switched out with the more defensive players before the next play started. The ref's whistle blew and the play began.

~~~Time Skip: After the Game~~~
Alex walked out of the showers, one towel wrapped around his waist, another was being run through his black hair, making it stand up in random places. Kayne was speaking with Chance about how the game had gone. Blaise and Gwyn were standing waiting for their friends to hurry up so they could go. It was gonna be a mini party at Gwyn and Alex's place.
"Wanna come with us to Gwyn's for a small party?" Kayne asked Chance, who smiled.
"Sure thing. It'd be nice to finally go to a party."
