(Authors note: hello everyone. I just wanted to day that this peice hasn't had any prereaders, but I still wanted to hold myself to my upload schedule so sorry if it's a little rocky in spots.)
I walk around the butcher shoppe searching for the perfect sides of beef for the suppers for the rest of the week. While i have already gotten the cleaning supplies of moss brushes and morning dew rose scented cleaner. All i could think of was the current fashion and the fashions of the past 6 months while i was away at Dragon academy. I mean seriously, who wants to wear something made of eggshells? they would never last. I don't care what their made of, their still egg shells. They don't even stretch or bend when you move in them.
Although, its a vast improvement over the last fashion fad. Most fads last 3 months. I left in the middle of a fad so i only missed one and now i need to catch up with this one before its gone. I cant wait for it to be over though to be honest. The fad i missed was all about moss clothing. Leave that to the elves I say. I use moss to scrub dishes, not wear.
I finish my part of the list and head back to the market center.
"The latest news told here every half hour!" yelled the town crier.
Might as well wait and listen, Luna thought to herself seeing the next round of news was only a few minutes way.
"The crime wave sweeping the south of the country continues with the kidnapping and successful ransom of Duke Falaway. Wildfires continue to sweep through the west caused by the tense diplomatic negotiations with the lava giants, while the east nearly drowns in all the torrential rainfall from the angry nixies who have completely cut off all communication with the rulers in the north."
"In other news, all the weather forecasters in the nation have given up trying to predict the weather due to the widespread chaos that the wildfires and rainfall have caused to local climates and weather patterns."
"Nature conservatives have started voicing worries over the latest fashion trend of wearing eggshells' and what it might do to the populations of egg laying species that are being used to make the aforementioned clothes."
"While others are still facing a shortage of cleaning moss from the last fad of moss clothing."
Hopefully this shortage will keep that style from ever taking off again. Luna thinks to herself after hearing the last of the news. Now to find Emeron and Ruben so we can go home.
