Ruben wanders down the wharf. Eyes traveling everywhere trying to find the ships and their owners. He spots the Fin Folk flag flying from the main post of a 5 masted trading hauler across the bay. Easily a 5 minute walk in these crowds. Or a 30 second flight.

I take to the air. Going over the bay in 40 seconds. I had some unexpected head winds. I then start to circle looking for a place to land. I circle for about 2 minutes then decide to just land on a nearby beach trying to keep some of the time I thought I could save by flying instead of walking through the crowds. I approach the Fin Folk for business first.

"Good Evening fair merchant."

"'Evening young dragon. What can I sell to you?"

"I seek voluntary scales and Kelpie milk."

"Your in luck, I have plenty of both and reasonable prices. How much do you need of each?"

"Oh. To be honest I don't know how much. So how about 2 zouto of scales and 3 gulps of Kelpie milk."

"Very well, my friend. That will be 35 auroras."

"Here you go." I say as I had over the coins.

He hands me my goods and I turn to leave.

"Wait."

"Yes?" I ask.

"You were a very polite customer. I want to know your name so I can recognize you easier the next time we do business."

"Sure. Im Ruben. And you are?"

"Im Merrin." He replied.

Merrin appeared like most mermen. Tall, thin, and having a faint shimmer to his skin similar to scales. He also has webbed hands and feet to go with his gills. His face looked like he smiled a lot and loved spending time outside, well, as outside as one can be underwater.

"Well, its been a pleasure making your acquaintance but I need to meet with my siblings soon before we head home."

"Understandable. I look forward to the next time we do business." Merrin responds.

"Have a profitable evening." Ruben answers.

"Thank you. Have a safe trip home."

Ruben makes a note of the ships name, 'Titanic 2' on his way to the other side of the pier.

"I wonder what happened to the 'Titanic 1'?" He wonders out loud.

Ruben then approaches what appeared to be the head merchant of the elf trading vessel. This one being named the 'Vengeful Baron'. The merchant appeared to be short tempered and a little too fond of his food and wine.

"What can I do you for?" He asks.

"Five stacks of enchanted paper, please." Ruben requests.

"Gladly. That will be 15 Auroras."

"Here you go." Ruben says while handing over his money.

The money and paper change hands and they go their separate ways. Looks turned out to be slightly deceiving with the second merchant. Ruben then begins his long trip back to the square where he will be meeting his siblings. Shrinking when necessary to slip through the legs of the slower moving members of the crowd. As he approaches the square, he can slowly hear the calls of the square crier become more and more distinct.
