My Perfect Year

January 2nd, 2014-Thursday

"Missy, Missy wake up", Cullen says sweetly. My eyes open and I see him laying next to me on his side. I close my eyes again. He shakes me and laughs "Missy, get up were going shopping today with Chloe and Bently", Cullen says. I open my eyes and sit straight up. "Shopping, did you just say shopping?", I ask starting to get excited. "Yup, all day. Now go put some real clothes on and get your stuff together. I'm going downstairs to get some breakfast and to let your mom know. I'll meet you down there", he says. He kisses my cheek and heads downstairs.

I grab my phone and look at the notifications, I see a text from James. Well that's odd I think to myself. I unlock my phone and look at it "Hey, can we hang @ ur house today?". "Sorry, can't, already have plans", I say. Then I get up and go change.

As I head downstairs I grab my wallet and phone. I'm wearing skinny jeans, converse, and a shirt I stole/borrowed from Macy. I ran downstairs and into the kitchen. Cullen and my mom are sitting at the counter talking about something.

"Good morning sweet pea", my mom says to me. "Morning mom", I reply. "You done eating?", I ask Cullen. "Yup", he responds. "Ok, let's go then", I say trying to leave. We start walking to the door. "Wait", my mother says to us. I look at Cullen and can tell he's thinking the same thing, she knows we slept in the same bed. "Missy you should know better", my mom says sounding slightly angry. "Shit", I say under my breath. Cullen and I turn around to face my mother. He grabs my hand and I squeeze it tightly. "Get your butt over here and eat something", my mom says smiling. We relax a little and fake smile as we go over and sit down. "What's wrong with you two? It looks like you slept in the same bed and didn't want me to know", she says as she puts food in front of me.

My eyes go wide and Cullen looks as if he's going to puke. "Im not stupid you know. I go in and check on you guys during the night. Besides I see everything. Which reminds me, Missy when you get back I want to tell you something. Anyway I'm fine with it as there's no funny business", she says as I eat my food. "I'm sorry ma'am I should've asked if it was ok first, my apologies", Cullen says in the voice he uses to speak to adults. "Sweet heart it's fine, as long as there's no funny business", she says glaring at him. Cullen blushes slightly. "Well I'm done, lets go", I say grabbing Cullen's wrist and dragging him to the limo.

We arrive at the mall and find Chloe and Bentley sitting on a bench taking couple pictures. Probably Chloe's idea I think laughing to myself. "Hey idiot", I say to Bentley. "Ew, who let you in here stupid", he says back. We all laugh and Chloe and Bentley get up. "First stop Hollister", Chloe announces in a country accent. We all walk to Hollister, me and Cullen holding hands and Chloe and Bentley holding hands. We chat about how we don't want to go to school the next day as we walk.

As we walk into Hollister the smell makes me light headed. I stagger back a little. Chloe's already dragging Bentley away. "You ok Missy?. You look a little out of it", Cullen says in a concerned voice. He helps me balance. "Yeah, I'm fine the smell just made me a little light headed that's all", I say. "Ok, what section do you want to go to first", he asks. I smile and drag him to where the dresses are. I grab one of each in my size and drag him to the dressing room.

After were done at the mall we say goodbye to Chloe and Bentley. At least I think it was Bentley, I couldn't tell because of all the bags he was carrying. Cullen looks at me and smiles. "What?", I ask him. "You just look so beautiful, like always", he says. "Your too sweet", I say then kiss him on the cheek. He grabs me around the waist. I lean forward and put my arms around his neck. Our lips are centimeters apart. I start to shake. "Its ok, don't be scared", Cullen whispers. His lips are almost on mine, we close our eyes. *Beepbop Beepbop* Cullen's phone goes off. We separate and scoot apart a little. "Hello..... Yeah......ok bye", Cullen says into the phone. "Who was that?", I ask. "Just my mom", he says rolling his eyes. "Now where were we", he says smiling and pulling me close again. *beeeeeppppp beeeeeepppp* my phone goes off. "Hello........yes mom were almost home.......you see the limo out the window?", I say looking at Cullen. He out the window, opens the door and comes to my side. "Yes mom were coming in now..........NO THERE WAS KNOW FUNNY BUSINESS.....ok bye", I say. Cullen opens my door for me and helps me get out.

We step into the house "Hey dad", I yell, "Hey sweet pea", he yells back. "Were going upstairs", I say not quite as loud. "Ok, Cullen's mom called and said she'll be here in about 30 minutes-1 hour", he says. "Ok", I respond.

We go up to my room and talk until his mom comes. "Bye bae", Cullen says and hugs me goodbye because his mom is standing their watching us.

After he leaves I go to my room, grab some pajamas and head to the bathroom to take a shower. When I get out I check the clock 7:58pm. I turn the T.V. on and put The Big Bang Theory on. Leaning over to grab a snack off my nightstand I decide to go ahead and set my alarm. Then I remember I'm going to school so I'll have to get up earlier since the weekend house is 1 hour away from school, I'll pick up breakfast on the way there I think. When a commercial comes on I race downstairs and get some Moose Tracks ice cream, my favorite. I race back upstairs and climb back into bed.

I look at my phone, I have 100 texts all together. 95 of them from Cullen, from Macy, 2 from Hazel, 1 from Chloe, and 1 from James. I check the ones from Hazel and Macy first, it's the usual I hate school stuff. Next I look at Cullen's it's all chain mail, I miss you's, and can't wait to see you tomorrow texts. I decide to text him back and tell him not to send chain mail, I miss him to, and can't wait to see you either. I read James, it reads "Hey, look your my only friend that will be at South Diana Middle School that I actually like. I know your not to excited about taking me around the school tomorrow. I also know I've only met and seen you once. Your mom never stops talking about you and your brother. I can honestly tell you though, that you are a wonderful and beautiful girl. I think I like you as more than a friend, sorry I know it's to soon and that you have a boyfriend but I'd like to be friends. Not just the kind you see at school, but the kind you hang out with on the weekends and stuff". At this point I'm in tears and about to cry really hard because its so sweet. I read on. "I mean I hope that's ok and stuff. Sorry for calling and texting so much but your just so idk it's stupid. I should've never said anything. Before I shut my big stupid mouth I'd like to say one last thing, every time I turn around or look at a girl or anything really I think of you. I think of your smile, your laugh, the way you talk with your hands, your eyes, face, hair. I could go on and on forever but unfortunately I don't have that kind of time. So bye, see you tomorrow at school". I was bawling, I couldn't see right. I totally forgot about the text from Chloe and I tried to calm myself down. After I did calm down a little I closed my eyes.

Today was amazing! Shopping with a bestie and hangin with my bf. I bought so much stuff I couldn't tell if it was Bentley that was carrying my bags. He held my hand but nothing more @@ <- that's me rolling my eyes. Whateves he's still my boo.
