I needed to stop at one last place before dawn. It was my old home, four doors down from Kora's. I climbed the tree next to what was my window, and slipped inside. No one lives here anymore, since the people that watched over me had died weeks before Lexa had called me back to Polis. Once she realized that I was living alone, she had bought this building, and never sold it.

Most of it is too broken to even use. The floors are rotted and rusted in some places, but not in my room. My room seemed in very good condition, with everything where I left it. I ran my finger along the drawstring of the bow, and then picked up an arrow. This was Kora's. She had wanted me to keep it, as stated in a journal entry of hers.

Apparently, she knew Skaikru were going to attack our village, and she obviously didn't think that she would make it. She gave me her bow and arrows, cloak, necklace, and the journal itself. The rest would go to her family. But, when Lexa had called me back, I had no time to pack so I had to leave everything behind. I wouldn't this time. I sat on my bed, and pulled the familiar covers around my body.

Somehow, I got to sleep without a single dream.
