I quickly jumped through, giving Sky's limp body to Tanix.
"Go!" I screamed. "And don't fly! They'll shoot!" Tanix held Sky to his chest and sprinted away.
"We will meet you at the life tree by sun down tomorrow! Latest!" I yelled to his back. He gave a nod to let me know he got the message. "Theus, follow me." I grabbed his arm, and we ran as fast we could for the rushes by the river. That would be our best cover. If we could hide until they left, we could start for town. I was surprised they hadn't seen us. The guards yelled orders, and half the men trotted back to the camp, while the other half trotted to the left. I breathed a sigh of relief as the humans left.
"Come, Theus. We have a meeting at the Life Tree to make!"
