Daniel
I stood at the door, Sky hidden behind me.
We were both scared of how the others would react.
I opened the door slowly and heard the laughter coming from the kitchen.
Sarah saw us first.
She knew what happened right away.
Her face darkened as she looked over at Tanix.
Theus watched her, confused, and he squinted at us, trying to figure us out.
Tanix watched us carefully.
He stood slowly.
He came over to us with an unfamiliar glint in his eye.
"Have you seen... Moi Tinsiga?" He asked slowly, dangerously.
"... yes." I answered.
He whipped away from us ran out, slamming the door behind him. My shoulders slumped.
"He'll come around, don't you worry. I'll go talk to him." Sarah smiled at us. "Congrats you guys!" She said over her shoulder and she flew off.
"I'm so sorry, Angel." I said, turning towards Sky.
"Thats alright. I didn't expect him to be supportive at first. I mean, think about it. He's practically raised me and he's my older brother. He pretty protective." I nodded.
"Hold up, hold up, hold up." Theus interrupted us. "You guys are mates?" Sky smiled weakly at her young brother and gave a little nod. "I should be mad, but this is awesome!" Theus yelled, jumping up and down with a huge grin. "I'm going to go tell Thatcher!" We laughed as he took off excitedly.

Sarah
I followed him at a distance until he landed in the forest. He yanked a vine down from a tree and fashioned a whip, hitting a rock over and over and over again. Yelling, grunting. He made marks in the strong rock, even breaking a few small pieces off. Once he was finished, he dropped the whip and sat down on the rock, face in his hands and silently crying. It's was then that I approached him.
I sat next to him and rubbed his back.
"Tani-"
"She's not mine anymore, Sarah. She's my little sister and she doesn't belong to me anymore." He leaned into my chest and gripped my shirt. I wrapped my arms around him.
"This world is a strange place. People come and go in many different ways. Sky was never yours to begin with, Tanix. She was the world's. And now that she has found her mate, she has found her love, her joy. You should be happy for her. It's not about whose she is. It's about what she's become."
Tanix turned away from me. He knew I was right but it was hard to accept. I scratched his back.
"I know... I know..." He put his head on my shoulder and I simply hugged him.

When Tanix and Sarah returned, all of us could tell there was something different about them. I'd have to talk to Sarah about it later.
Tanix walked in the door looking defeated. He slowly made his way over to me and just hugged me. I embraced him, missing my older brother's bear-hugs, and smiled.
"I'm sorry," He mumbled. "I'm happy for you guys... mostly." I laughed and he gave a weak smile. Then he bro-hugged Daniel, and I could tell that whatever Sarah hd said made him feel a lot better.
