"Mind telling me what happened?" Deaton asked as I sat on the examining table.

"The ghost riders...they came to the game."

Watching as he cut off a piece of my claw, not that long after it grows back.

"Did they attack you?"

"No. They attacked Liam, I just...I just lost it."

"What do you mean lost it?"

"I killed one of the riders. I scratched and punched them with everything I had, and they just vanished. Like dust."

"Dust?"

"Yeah, like a lightning bolt striking the ground. He left dust."

Retracting my claws back, I watched as Deaton shook the vile my nail was is.

"So, what now?"

"Now, we wait."

Stirring the vile around in a machine, I looked over his shoulder still sitting down on the table.

"For?"

Looking over his shoulder, he makes brief eye contact with me before returning back to the vile.

"I'm going to vanish aren't I?" I hesitate.

"We don't know that."

"Corey grabbed my hand. I saw them, all six of them actually."

"Six?" He said turning around.

"Yeah, three of them surrounded us, and the others started taking people."

Hearing the door open behind me, Derek came inside.

"I was just about to call you." He whispered.

"I was at the game."

Feeling him stare at the back of my head, the tension in the room was rising.

"What's going on?"

"I just needed to do some tests," Deaton said.

"Are the injections not working?"

"No, they are. I just wanted to get more answers..." I added as I jumped off the table.

"Okay."

"I'll have the results tomorrow morning, you can come by later."

"Yeah, I'm really tired," I said grabbing my jacket and walking out the back door.

Striding over to my car, Derek stands next to his car.

"How was the game?"

"All right, they canceled the game because of the rain."

Opening my car door, I tossed my keys in the passenger seat.

"But you guys will be ready for Devenford, right?"

"Yeah, in a few weeks."

Getting inside my car, I saw I had a few missed calls from Emma.

'I think I might have something about the cloth.'

"Hey, I'm gonna head to my mom's house to grab some things, I'll see you home?" I said to Derek after I rolled down my window.

"Yeah, go ahead."

Stepping out of my car, the window at the corner of the second floor was on.

"Emma!" I yelled when I entered the house.
