Down by our house, Derek comes back up from the basement with two bags full of guns and ammunition. Emma and Dani had just parked outside of the house when they ran into the living room.
"Your dad just left the school and is heading to the armory right now." Emma blurted out.
"Good."
"Jesus...how long have you kept these things in here?" Derek asked.
"Arraya planted them for me yesterday after the confrontation," I said.
Grabbing my jacket, Dani throws me my phones as Chris was starting to call.
"Are you on your way?" He asked.
"Yeah, we're almost done. Is everything going to plan?" I asked.
Hearing Lydia and Scott through the phone, Derek comes back in the house and meets me on the kitchen island.
"How's it going?" He asked.
"Scott thinks he hears about 10 people inside, Gerard isn't supposed to be here."
"Where's Liam and Theo?" Dani asked.
"They followed the other plan, trying to lure Nolan to our hiding place near the Zoo."
"Good, we're all ready. I'll meet you over there." I said in a hurry.
"Savannah, you can't come. You heard Gerard's orders, if he sees you, you're the first one he's going to kill." Chris blurted out.
"Fine."
Sliding my phone back into my jacket pocket, Derek looks over at me.
"You're not staying here, are you?" He said in a serious tone.
"Of course not," I said, grabbing my keys and heading out the house and into the car.

"How do we know this plan is going to work?" Emma asked.
"We don't. Gerard has a meeting with his supplier every Tuesday from the last time I checked Chris' laptop." I said, making a sharp turn.
"We can take down a few hunters if we have to," Dani said.
"We're dealing with a dozen well-armed hunters who have orders to kill us on sight." Derek hissed, as I could feel the heat from his body rising.
"Not all of them are trained. They may have deputies and amateur hunters with them, but they don't how to hunt us. They have Gerard and Monroe to teach them, but she's still learning." I added taking another turn into the armory parking lot.
"There's Chris' car," Dani whispered.
Driving past them, I reverse into the parking spot beside Chris' window.
"You made it."
"Are you going in?" I asked Chris.
"You shouldn't have come, Savannah. I told you."
"And you don't know me well enough to not run from a fight. You taught me that." I said to Chris.
Watching them through the open window, Lydia's imagination was somewhere else. Pointing her finger up at the windshield, she looked like something was on the glass, slowly gazing around.
"Lydia?" I called out for her, bringing her back to reality.
"Are you okay?"
"...Yeah...I think so?"
"We need to call off this mission." Chris blurted out.
"Chris! Brett and Lori are dead. Satomi is dead. Jang and Tearany are missing. We can't let Gerard win this."
