Standing behind a row of black chairs, I watched as people walked up to two black caskets, dropping a single white rose into the grave as they dropped Brett and Lori down to the ground.
Satomi sat down in the first row with her black attire, while she watched everyone take their turn saying their goodbyes. Members of her pack bent down and grabbed a handful of dirt before letting it slip through their fingers and into the grave. Emma, Dani, and Liam walked back into the row, leaving me and Satomi the last ones to say our goodbye's.
Stepping up to the large metal railing, Satomi and I stood beside each other as Brett and Lori were laid to rest before we dropped our rose onto their caskets.
"They were good kids," Satomi whispered.
"They strong," I added.
"You've lost children in your pack before, how do you cope?" She hissed trying to hold back her tears.
"You don't. You keep them in the back of your mind, to remind you that nothing is worse than this moment." I added.
Staring down at the glossy finish of the casket, I turned my head to look at Satomi.
"We will find out who did this, you will have justice," I said.
"I don't want justice. I want revenge."
Placing my hand on her shoulder, she placed hers on mine before patting it softly.
"Hopefully we don't meet like this again." She whispered.
"We can't make that promise."
Walking back down the aisle, there was a moment of silence as we waited for Satomi to collect herself and returns back to her seat to let the funeral continue.
"We're going to find them, aren't we?" Emma asked.
"For Brett and Lori, for everyone, we've lost because of them," I whispered.
After the service, the four of us started heading back to the car and drove back to my house in silence. Liam sat behind Emma, staring off into the distance while Dani laid back and did the same.
"If it's Gerard. Then he's planning bigger things for everyone else, right?" Emma asked.
"I don't know what his plan is but I know what he wants."
"What's that?" Dani asked.
Looking over my shoulder, I made direct eye contact with Liam as I caught his attention.
"The thing he hates the most. Me."

Standing up from the small rolling stool, I grabbed some gauze pads from the cabinet above me and tape them down on the stitches from last night.
Rolling the top of the skirt up to my waist, I felt cold hands grip the back as they buttoned me up.
"I still can't believe you're working with me in this hospital." My mom said.
"I've always wanted to be a doctor, you know that," I whispered.
"I know...and I still hate these tattoos." She said as put my shirt back on.
"They're there and they're permanent, get over it."
Slipping into my white coat, she hands me my files before we walked out of the examining room.
"I heard you went to Brett and Lori's funeral. How'd it go?" She asked.
"Just like every other werewolf funeral, I've ever been too. They're revengeful. If I need any help tracking down the hunter that killed them, they'd run to me in a heartbeat."
