Aaron POV
I slowly creep up into this broken down church. It's pitch black and I can barley see anything. I walk over to the only source of light I see. It's a staircase. Before I could even think about walking down, I hear people talking. Swiftly kneeling down, I duck walk over to the voices. I sneak up behind both of them. Slowly taking it out of the holster, I point my gun towards them.
"Freeze" I said. The men both turn around in shock and start to run away. I run after them and decide to shoot them in the legs. I know that might not be the best thing to do, but it was a rash decision. I pull them closer to me.
"Now, tell me where El Diablo is." I say
"We don't have to tell you anything." One of the guys say. Out of anger, I point my gun to him again.
"He's in the basement!" The the guy yells out. I throw them onto the ground. As I walk away, I could hear them arguing in the background.
Vincent POV
"Let them go!" I yell out
"Oh Vincent! You think it's that easy." He laughs out to me. He slowly takes a gun out of his back pocket and points it at Veronica. She stares back at me with her hazel eyes in terror. My eyes start to water. I run forward but stop as he starts pointing the gun to me.
"If you come any closer, you and these beautiful twins are dead." He says. I start to breath faster and faster
Veronica POV
My whole body is practically shaking. I look over to Vanessa and see her cry a single tear. Vincent stares at me. I try to tell him through my eyes that I love him but I don't think he could understand.
Vanessa POV
I almost pass out as I see Vince argue with the man. I look over to Roni and see her looking at Vincent with beady eyes. It seemed like she was trying to tell him something. I suddenly had a flashback. It was of Aaron and I together. We were walking in the park holding hands. We watched the leaves turn red. It was beautiful. Then another memory replaces that one. It was of me and Roni. We were hiking together. And as we got to the peak, we saw the sunset set over LA. I guess it's true. Your life really does flash before your eyes when your in a life threatening crisis.
Vincent POV
"Now, let me tell you a story" he says
"I don't want to hear your dumb ass story." I say. He now starts to point the gun at Vanessa. My face goes into a blank slate.
"Ok. I'm 36. I know your whole story. From your parents burning up into a crisp to running away to your grandfather. I was 17 when you were 3. Do you know my real name?" He says with a smile.
"Why would I know?" I clench my teeth together
"It's Luis. Luis Almanza. Congratulations. You have a brother" he says.
A/N ooohhhh plot twist! I hoped you enjoyed this chapter! I really don't want this winter break to end :(
