One Week Later...
Aaron POV
I sat down with Vincent and Veronica outside of Starbucks.
"So, what's up?" Vincent asked me.
"This might make no sense but... say you date someone for a period of time and you break up. But then you get back together. Will you be together for a how long you dated still or you guys wipe the slate clean?" I ask
"What kind of question is that?" Veronica says
"Well I mean...No. You just "go from where you guys left off" So, if you date someone for a year, break up, then get back together, you have already been with this person for a year. Why do you need this information in the first place?" Vincent says. I first hesitate.
I pull the ring out of my back pocket.
"I want to marry your Vanessa." I say with a smile
"Oh my god!!!" Veronica yells out and jumps over to hug me.
"And I wanted your opinions." I said
"Why would we ever tell you not to marry her?" Vincent gives me a bro hug
"Well. I don't know. We got back together last week and all. I just wanted to see." I said
"When are you going to ask?" Veronica says with a permanent smile on her face
"Tomorrow. I'm taking her out to dinner. Then, taking her to that cliff. We are going to stargaze for a bit then I'll pop the question." I said
"I'm gonna cry!" Roni said.
Vincent POV
I start to laugh as Roni holds on to Aaron like a leech.
"Ok. I have to go. I'll see you guys in a bit." Aaron pushed Veronica off of him.
I snuggled her into my arms.
"Ok honey." She whispered "That's actually the same guy I saw at the hospital last week!" She softly said
"Babe. Why are you so paranoid? I promise you that not him. I love you." I kiss her on top of her head. We just sit there in silence.
"Race you to the car!" she yells out, getting a 5 second head start
"No fair!" I scream back.
