Types Of One Direction Fanfictions

'Tis the End

Well then, lovely readers. This is the end of all the horrible fanfictions I have found and read, I have decided to close the list here. Also because fifteen is just a beautiful number (yeah I have OCD).

Mind you, this does not comprise of all the pathetic fics I have read across all of Wattpad. Unfortunately, in my search for terrible fanfictions, I have come across so many more that I could not categorise under of of these fifteen; however, I assure you, there are plenty more. And do not make the mistake of thinking that these terrible fics exist solely for One Direction. I have seen much worse for bands that I haven't heard of etcetera. For those of you who follow me; you would have noticed that I recently had an amazingly funny fight with someone on Wattpad who wrote a 'thug' story (which also seem to be very popular but not for One Direction.)

Anyway! Coming back to the point at hand. One Direction fanfictions are terrible, and we must resist them. I implore you all to further resist bad stories in general. The easiest features to look for in bad stories are:

1) Mary Sues as protagonists.

2) Cliche plot lines.

3) Stories with comments that go along the lines of, "put in more sex!!!"

4) Rape stories.

5) Stories which consist of someone getting kidnapped and tortured (unless s/he is an assassin and part of a top secret society!)

6) Romance in general. (But that's just me; GOD I HATE ROMANCE.)

7) Stories with horrifying grammar and story structure. Like some authors who genuinely aren't good at English still sometimes try to make their story readable. I really appreciate that; I really do. bt den der r ppl who typ lyk dis n make me wanna punch dem in d face till their teeth fall out.

So I hope, in fact, I sincerely hope, that the few of you who have read this understand our plight. By 'our' I mean fanfiction writers who don't write One Direction. For example, I love HP and PJO and AF and THG and Divergent and so much more; and I wouldn't mind reading good fanfiction based on them. But just looking for fanfiction on this is close to impossible because of so many reasons -- mostly 1D.

Help us. This is a link to a forum that you could pledge into and help us by ensuring that there is a new segment on Wattpad for popfic writers that is different from fanfic. It would help tremendously so that we could get reds and know what people genuinely think about our writing so that we can improve ourselves.
