A Long Lost Friend.

Chapter 1

*Your POV*

"Ok I want a three page essay on your favorite musical artist on Monday. Have a great weekend!" I say to my college students  as they rush out the door into the warm sunny weather. It has been at least six years since I lost touch with Avi and Esther. Mainly Esther. 'I miss her. I can't believe that we lost touch within the first year of college..'  I shake my head and grab my bag and lock up the room. 'Well its time to go home and work on my book.'  I think as I walk down the hallway. I make it maybe three feet away from my door when a student comes running up behind me. "Ms. L/N! I have a question on or paper."  "Yes Mr. Borg what is your question?" I ask and he blushes. "Do we have to source our information? I was kinda daydreaming at the end of class." He admits blushing. "Well Mr. Borg, what is your topic?" I ask and he smiles. "Oh Its this group of people from Arlington, called Pentatonix. They have five people four guys and one girl." He says and I smile. "Well it sounds like you know your stuff. But if you do have to look anything up no Wikipedia, and yes site your sources." I say with a stern look on my face and he smiles. "Thanks Ms. L/N!" He says and runs back down the hallway. I smile and head out to my D/C and jump in the drivers seat.  I drive back to my house, and go straight to my writing room. "Time to get this book finished." I mutter to myself and turn on my music. I click on my writing program and start typing humming to myself.

*Avis POV*

"Avi please give me my book back. I won't mention her again ok?! Im sorry." Esther says following me everywhere since I took her book that she was reading. "Promise me Esther?" I ask and she reluctantly nods. "Ok." I say and hand her book back to her. She frowns at me and walks back to her bed. "Who even is that author Esther? All I ever see you read is that book." I say and she pauses. "Why do you care?" She asks looking at me confused. "Its a romance book." She says and I nod. "I know but it actually looks interesting, can I read it?" I ask and she nods. "I guess Just let me finish it real quick. I only have one chapter left." She says and sits on the couch next to me. I peak at the title of the book. "The Iron Heart?" I whisper and Esther hums. "Yep. Written by Abby Stars." "Abby Stars? Now if that's not a fake name then I don't know what is." I say with a chuckle and Esther glares at me. "You want to read this anytime soon?" she asks and I nod confused. "Then shut it so I can finish it." She says and I nod and go to the kitchen for awhile. Not even ten minutes later Esther comes into the kitchen and hands me the book. "There you go. I think you'll like it." She says and walks away. I shrug and head back to the couch and open it to the dedication. 'To Rose and Bassman. I hope you succeed in whatever you are doing now a days.'  "ESTHER!!!"  I yell for her and she comes running. "Yes Avi?" "Did you ever read the dedication?" I ask her and she nods. "Ya why?" She asks and I shake my head. "Doesn't it sound familiar?" I ask and  she nods. "Yes it does. Its seems that someone else has reached their dream as well." She says and walks away. 

*Your POV*

I just finished my new book titled The Heart-warmer. I send to my editor and publisher. 'Well that's done now it's time to grade papers, this is going to be so much fun.' I think and stop and giggle to myself. 'Even my thought's have sass.'  I turn off my music and head back to the dinning room table to grade papers when my phone rings. I look at the caller ID and smile. "Hey F\N How are you doing?" I ask and I hear a squeal come from my phone. "Girl we are going to a concert." She screams and I smile. "Alright where are you and your boyfriend going this time?" I ask and she screams we are going to a Pentatonix concert this weekend!" she yells and I laugh. "Alright so I am guessing tomorrow then?" I ask and she scoffs. "Duh why would we go on a Sunday?" "Oh I don't know so you can get out of going to work on Monday." I say and she laughs. "That sounds like something I would do." She say and then gasps. "Dude I am coming over to seal a dress and have you do my hair and make-up. Actually Scratch that I am coming over now and stay over and we can talk about this more! I'll be there in like ten minutes." She says and hangs up. I laugh and take out my papers that I need to grade. "I'll get these started until she gets here." I say and get started.  I get through ten papers before she shows up. "Hey." I say and out my pen down. She squeals and tackles me. "It has been forever miss I am to busy to hang out." she mocks and I smile. "Sorry a teachers life is very busy." I say and she smiles. "Ya I suppose. Same room? Ya know the room next to the creepy always locked door." She says and I laugh. "Yes F/N that would be correct." I say and she walks upstairs.
