I look at Kayla again wishing she was mine not his. I don’t want to even say his name with Kayla! That’s not okay with me at all. My heart feels like its breaking when I see them anger and jealousy is in my stomach. I’m ready to break something. I turn my attention back to the guys at the table, when the lunch doors burst open with Lexi and the principal behind her. They had a bunch of balloons and banners in their arms that said happy anniversary and stuff. Great! Lexi is clapping her hands non-stop, now what is she doing?
“Okay everyone please leave the dining hall please just for a while. You may go anywhere else except here,” the principal shouts. We all get up and start walking out as I pass Mr. Taltson he grabs my arm. “Except you,”
“Oh isn’t this going to be great baby! Oh you didn’t wear something nice!” Lexi pouts.
“I didn’t know it was today,” I state.
“You don’t even know when are anniversary is!” she yells and slaps me. I just stand there in shock.
Kayla’s Point of View:
I was sitting with Kyle at lunch all I could do was look at Chase when I got the chance to. Out of the corner of my eye I see him looking right back at me as if he was ready to throw something at the wall he had anger in his eyes not the usual happiness and life that I loved so much about him. Everything about him sent shivers down my spine I loved him so much. But he had Lexi and I had Kyle now everything is okay. He has the love of his life while I have to find the one for me. Even though I already found it the love of my life is him. But I have Kyle now and no one else he was my life. Not Chase and his little cheerleader of a girlfriend who didn’t like him for him but for how he looked not his personality. She didn’t know the real him. I quickly get snapped out of my ranting and raving on Chase when the principal and Lexi come in.
“Okay everyone please leave the dining hall please just for a while. You may go anywhere else except here,” he shouts. I look back one more time and see that Chase was still there with Lexi and Mr. Taltson that’s when I notice one of the banners says Happy Anniversary Chase and Lexi that’s just great! I walk off with Kyle by my side.
“You okay Kayla?!” Kyle asks.
“Huh, oh yeah I’m fine. Thanks,” I smile at him he smiles back squeezing my hand tighter. Was he jealous or something?!
“Are you jealous?” I ask. He smirks at me. “Come on Kyle tell me,”
“Just a little,” he confesses.
“You don’t have to worry,” I smile and kiss him on the cheek. I walk into the room and shut the door. I turn around to see Fiona and Eve already studying; great I really didn’t need this I just want to cry right now! There was so much to cry about right now like my father being dead and Chase not liking me when I feel so much love to him. I want to be the only girl that he loves all of his life.
“I WANT TO BE WITH HIM! NOT LEXI!” I shout. Fiona and Eve look up at me frozen in shock.
“What?” Fiona asks.
“I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE I’M SO TIRED OF FEELING JEALOUS AT SOMETHING THAT’S ALREADY MINE!” I cry. I was now full on sobbing Fiona and Eve get up and sit next to me.
“It’s okay Kayla, don’t cry,” Eve coos at me.
“He doesn’t even love me either which doesn’t help, I feel so sick inside,” I sob even louder. Eve and Fiona whisper something to each other, Eve nods and gets up.
