Once the plane landed we quickly grabbed are stuff and went to the school. Once I got there everyone was waiting for me at the family room I could hear them from outside the doors.
“Bye mom I will see you at dinner how about six?” I ask. She nods as I walk in. I step through the door to be trampled by Fiona and Eve.
“Oh my gosh I missed you so much,” Fiona smiled. I smile back. Looking at them Eve wearing a pretty light pink dress and Fiona in a mint green dress.
“Why you guys so dressed so nice I thought I was because I’m coming back?” I ask.
“Lexi’s party we all have to go,” Eve says. I nod. “Oh James and I have a date tomorrow!”
“Oh good for you!” I smile, hugging her.
“Thanks, oh we better get going!” she says. We all walk to the lunch room; I push open the door to see it decked out in pink! Everyone looks up from what they’re doing, everyone stares as Fiona, Eve and I walk in. I forgot I curled my hair today! Dang it! Now I look like I was totally ready! Eve goes to James who hugs her real tight. She smiles at us.
“She looks so happy!” Fiona says. I nod.
“Ready?” I ask.
“I guess even though I wish someone would shoot me,” she whispers. Lexi smiles when she sees me, she runs up to the microphone.
“Hey everyone how would you like it if Kayla sang for us?” she asked. Everyone shouted. She runs down the steps and grabs my arm, dragging me to the stage. I look at Fiona she smiles I give her a pleading look. She shrugs. She was right what could she do?
“Here she is everyone Kayla!” she screamed.
“Lexi I can’t,” I whisper.
“To bad today is my birthday!” she smirks handing me the microphone.
“Turn on I Like the Way You Lie,” I ask. I quickly get off the stage and grab Eve and Fiona. “Please be my backup singers,” They nod. I swallow and look in the crowd, and wait for the music. Once it plays I open my mouth. “On the first page of our story. The future seemed so bright. Then this thing turned out so evil. Don't know why I'm still surprised. Even Angels have their wicked schemes. And you take that to new extremes. But you'll always be my hero. Even though you've lost your mind. Just going to stand there and watch me burn. But that's alright because I like the way it hurts. Just going to stand there and hear me cry. But that's alright because I love the way you lie. I love the way you lie. Ohhhh, I love the way you lie. Now there's gravel in our voices. Glass is shattered from the fight. In this tug of war, you'll always win. Even when I'm right. Cause you feed me fables from your hand. With violent words and empty threats. And it's sick that all these battles. Are what keeps me satisfied. Just going to stand there and watch me burn. But that's alright because I like the way it hurts. Just going to stand there and hear me cry. But that's alright because I love the way you lie. I love the way you lie. Ohhhh, I love the way you lie. So maybe I'm a masochist. I try to run, But I don't want to ever leave. Till' these walls are going up. In smoke with all our memories. Just going to stand there and watch me burn. But that's alright because I like the way it hurts. Just going to stand there and hear me cry. But that's alright because I love the way you lie. I love the way you lie,” I finish to a bunch of clapping. We bow and I quickly get down. I smile at Fiona and Eve in a thank you way. They smile back as in no problem. I stand by the refreshments when I turn around I see Chase walking toward me. I quickly walk to the trash so then it seems as if I was busy.
