I look at my phone waiting for Fiona to come out of the store we were at. I really wanted to get back to the house soon. Yes, the school is house that has been added on to make it bigger. Finally Fiona comes out with another bag; she already had six why add another. When we get back there is a kid sitting on the couch, on his shirt was a name tag Kyle it said. We got a new student? I look at the dining room Noah had his bags and things, he must have dropped out I wonder why he dropped out. I let Fiona go on ahead back to the room I wanted to watch this seen play out. I walk up to guy sitting on the couch he had blonde hair that was spiked and hazel looking eyes.
“Hi I’m Kayla, are you new here?” I smile. He nods looking at me. Either he is checking me out or I’m just being weird.
“Hey I’m Kyle and yeah I’m new I’m taking Noah’s spot,” he smiles back. I nod.
“I can tell,” I laugh. He laughs with me then it goes silent, it wasn’t awkward but felt right. It was if we were trying to analyze each other into are brains.
“So where do you come from?” I ask breaking the silence.
“I live in New York, how about you?” he smiles. His smile was dazzling perfect lips and everything and for some reason I wanted to kiss his lips just a peck. What are you doing you don’t like him?! Or do you? I quickly put those thoughts behind me before I can think anything else.
“Hollywood up in the hills,” I reply. He nods and smiles.
“Would you like to go out for some ice cream after dinner?” he asks. My heart does a little flutter.
“Yeah how about like six thirty?” I ask. I really hope I didn’t sound desperate but I was I liked him and I really wanted to get to know him. He nods and smiles.
“It sounds like a date!” he smiles. I smile.
“Yeah,” I laugh.
“Wait do you have a boyfriend? I don’t want to break any rules!” he adds quickly. I shake my head.
“I’m single, so I guess that’s a no!” I smile. He chuckles.
“I like you!” he says.
“Who doesn’t!” I smile. He laughs.
“You got a point,” he says. I nod. A few minutes after that Fiona comes running in.
“Where were you? I really want to tell you something!” she says. She sounded excited. Kyle sat there looking confused.
“Kyle this is my friend Fiona,” I smile. He nods.
“Hi Kyle, Okay now are you happy?! Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go!” she says dragging me. I look at Kyle with a look that says “sorry and a mix of help me!” Kyle just waves and gives me that look that says “Ha! Stinks to be you!” and “Okay.” Fiona drags me to are bedroom and starts talking about how Kent asked her out and stuff. She keeps talking about all through dinner.
“I got to go Fiona I have a date,” I smile. She stops talking and her eyes get big.
“Tell me all about it when you get back!” she says excitedly I nod and leave as quickly as possible. I see Kyle and walk up to him. He smiles and kisses me on the cheek.
