Dad and I get off the plane together we go through luggage and the security before we had to split ways.
“Now remember you need to tell your mom. ‘Kay?” he asks. I nod. “Love you kiddo,”
“Love you to dad,” I smile hugging him. I watch as he goes to the man that has sign that says Mr. Rick Garson and climbs in, he waves and leaves. I look to see my mom looking at me. I smile she smiles right back, her same misty looking turquoise eyes and same blonde hair curled to land on her shoulders. I run to her and give her a big hug she hugs me back.
“Well let’s get back home to warm you up,” she smiles. It was extremely cold here just like Pennsylvania.
“I would like that,” I say. I grab the handle on my suite case and we walk to the small car that my mom must have just bought. I put my suite case in the back and got in the passenger seat.
“So how is school?” she asks.
“It’s going great mom there’s a bunch of nice people except for these two girls but I don’t really care. What’s school without a few bullies or two?” I laugh. She laughs along with me.
“Well this weekend I have off so we can do whatever you want you came at bad time right now sense of all the rain so it won’t be as much fun but what are you going to do about it!? Right?” she says, just as a few rain drops start to fall over head.
“Actually I want to just hang out at home with my family,” I smile.
“Well your sister misses you and your brothers just sleep on your bed,” she laughs.
“I knew Stormy would be a good girl when I was gone! As for Thunder and Lighting well they better have not left a bunch of fur on my comforter,” I laugh. When we get home mom grabs my bags and we run inside the pent house. The living room still looked the same lots of window and had a warm feeling to it that was connected to the big kitchen where Rosie, are helper my mom liked to call her, was cooking. But before I could even go upstairs to my room I hear a rumble of paws running on the hard wood, around the corner Stormy in the lead where my dogs. Stormy being all black except for a white stripe on her head collided into me. I laugh at her, she wags her tail. Lighting yellow nose nuzzling me, and Thunder who was trying to pass the other to. We had quit a variety between the three of them, Stormy and black lab and Border collie mix, Lighting a yellow lab and Thunder who was all gray but kind of shagging some kind of mix but who knew what kind. I walk into the kitchen and sit on one of the bar stools. Rosie turns around singing some song and her eyes get wide when she sees me.
“Oh Kayla how are you sweet heart?” she smiles hugging me.
“I’m good, how are you?” I smile. She nods.
“Much better now that I know you’re okay,” she laughs. I smile and nod. My mom walks in with the dogs trailing behind her.
“It’s late and I’m going to bed,” I yawn checking the time 10:45. My mom nods. I go upstairs with my suite case and grab a pair of pj’s and quickly change. Stormy lying on my floor next to my bed. I smile.
“Come on up,” I say patting on my bed, she jumps up and curls at my feet before I knew it I was out. Soon I woke up to something burning I quickly get up and change and go down stairs. Once down the stairs I see my mom in the kitchen trying to make waffles.
