After packing extra clothes and hard drives, I was summoned back to the conference room. So, Mothma already found someone to go with me. I grabbed the small bag I packed everything in and looked around. Everything I had was basically packed in that bag since I didn't own a lot of stuff. Just clothes, my three blasters I always kept on my body, and hard drives just in case I needed to transfer information. Quickly, I turned off the lights and walked to the conference room.

When I opened the door, I saw Mothma and the man from earlier huddled around the main control screen. When Mothma heard the door open, she looked up and beckoned me over.

"Li, this is Captain Andor. He's part of Intelligence. You'll be working on separate missions as usual on Coruscant. Please, when you find out anything, do not hesitate to leave immediately and come in contact with us. We're potentially in your hands, Major." Mothma's tone was stern and strict, but I could still hear the worry in it. Worry for the base and for the mission. I gave her a quick nod and left, slowing down my pace after I left the room so the Captain could catch up. I gave him a side glance before turning my attention to the mission.

"I'll only need through the night, at most. All I need is to get to a cantina so land somewhere near there to drop me off and I'll be out of your way and your mission," I said, my tone commanding. I didn't have time for anyone to question me and I was glad he didn't.

We were both silent as we walked down the hallway together, and even when he mentioned which way to his ship there was little interaction. As we were walking, people made sure to get out of our way either due to knowing us or to the fact we looked like we would find a painful way to remove them from our path.

We turned one last time before we were in the landing area of the base. We were making our way to the Captain's ship when I heard my name being called. I turned to the Captain and told him to wait for me in the ship before turning my attention to the person calling for my attention and running over to me.

"Dameron, you look like a fool running around like that," I called to him, my tone playful. There's no way you could ever be rude to Dameron, he was the nicest man you'd ever meet. When he finally stopped running, I asked, "what's up?"

"I just wanted to see you off. Don't get killed out there, alright Li?" Over the years Dameron has become more of an older brother to me than a friend. We constantly tease each other and make sure the other is alright. I didn't want it to happen, but his constant bothering had made my heart open up to him. I'd like to think him and Leia are the only ones I truly care about, just so I don't get hurt again.

I nodded and Dameron pulled me into a hug. "I'll try to stay safe."

When we pulled away, Dameron gave me a small smile and ruffled my hair before I turned around and entered the ship. It was a bit beaten up but so were all the ships here. I sat down and braced myself for take off while the Captain transmitted the takeoff codes that cleared us to leave the desolate planet. When we were stable, I made my way to the cockpit.

The Captain was sitting in the pilot's seat and an Imperial droid sat copilot. Since he wasn't causing any trouble, I figured he was reprogrammed.

"How long will it take to get there?" I asked, making my presence known although they probably already knew I was there.

"Not long, if we don't run into any trouble," the Captain said. "Captain Cassian Andor, by the way. That's K-2SO."

The Captain held out his hand, an attempt to formally introduce himself. I took his hand and shook it, my hand coming into contact with his glove.
