Chaos. That's exactly what was happening around us when we walked out of the ship. I looked around for Dameron but my gaze landed on the Princess first.
"Leia!" Luckily, she heard me above all the noise and she spotted me as I was running to her.
"Good, you're back. They want to see you in the Command Center," she stated. She lightly grabbed my wrist and tugged my through the crowds. The two of us ran while navigating through the halls. Everyone seemed to be running different directions, making it harder for Leia and I. "What are you doing here?"
The Captain rolled his eyes at me and didn't respond yet kept up with the princess and I. The three of us burst into the Command Center while everyone was rushing out. Multiple people were at the computers, wiping the information off of them just in case the Empire comes down to see for any extra information.
"Li! Cassian! Tell me all you know," Mothma said. She didn't stop walking around though, demanding people to go different ways and do different things.
"Ma'am, my contact was only able to tell me that they are building a weapon, a massive weapon that will make the entire galaxy theirs out of fear." The Captain's heavy accent was surprising to me, since I didn't pay too much attention to it beforehand. It was strong and tough, yet had something intriguing to me. I realized I was staring when the Captain looked at me and raised his eyebrow, smirking. I rolled my eyes and scoffed, turning my attention back to Mon Mothma.
"I haven't had time to look through the drive but if I have a monitor, I can go through it while evacuating," I stated. Mothma nodded and dismissed us. Leia led me out, and as I followed her I grabbed a tablet. After getting into the hallway, we stopped and I turned to her.
"I promised your father I would protect you in his absence," I informed her. She smiled faintly at me and nodded in thanks. The Captain walked out of the Command Center and looked at us both.
"Mothma wants me to transport you and the Princess out of here as soon as possible. Every other ship is filled and most have left," he informed us and huffed in annoyance. I did not want to spend any more time with Captain Cassian Andor. He noticed my annoyance and smirked at me. I rolled my eyes and followed Leia to the ship, my arms crossed over my chest. I will not enjoy this ride at all.
"Oh come on, Li, Cass is really not that bad," Leia defended. My mouth fell open in shock, my eyes widening and I comically raised a hand to my face.
"Cass? I didn't know you liked scruffy scoundrels," I told her, teasing her.
"Oh shut up," Leia muttered, but her small smirk betrayed her and I knew she was at least a little amused. "I happen to like nice men! And at least I don't stare at him and turn into a tomato when he catches me!"
I stopped. "I do not!"
"Mhm, sure. Now come on, the sooner you look through that, the sooner you are quiet," Leia sassed, smirking at me.
I followed her on the ship, sitting down, and pulling out the tablet all in a huff.
"I do not," I muttered one last time. Leia, instead of responding, started laughing at me.

Throughout the entire ride, I was staring, hacking, and decoding different files on the tablet. And sometimes looking at the annoying man in the pilot's seat but I would not admit that to anyone on this ship.I was constantly bothered by Kaytoo asking if I needed assistance and each time I would reply with a short 'no' before returning back to the files.
Right now, I was exhausted so I gently set aside my tablet and rubbed my eyes, Leia coming over with a concerned look on her face.
"Hey, you okay?" She asked, gently setting her hand on my shoulder. I nodded at her while putting my head between my knees.
