I sat down next to Jyn and strapped myself in, knowing this won't turn out the best. Either it's going to be storming because it's Eadu, or we're going to get shot at. I was hoping for the former so there would be a chance to find and save my father.

"I have a bad feeling about this," I muttered, looking around the ship. My gaze landed on Cassian, who was being directed where to fly by Bodhi. Jyn was going to answer me but we swerved so we were both thrown around the ship.

"Could you listen a little better to Bodhi?" I snapped. This flying could rival mine for the worst flying skills award.

"I'd like to see you try-"

"Twenty degrees to the right!" Bodhi exclaimed, cutting Cassian's remark off.

I rolled my eyes as the ship was continuously jerked around.

"No, no, no, lower! Lower!" I groaned and gripped the seat harder.

"We're going to crash," I stated.

"I thought you Rebels were filled with hope," Jyn joked, knocking into my shoulder.

"I'm a special type," I replied.

"There's a 26% chance of failure," I overheard Kaytoo calculate.

"How much farther?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, I never really come this way, but we're close, we're close," Bodhi responded.

"Well, now there's a 35% chance of failure," Kaytoo said. I rolled my eyes and grabbed Jyn's hand, squeezing it really hard.

"Charming choice of men, by the way. Thought I'd tell you now, just in case," Jyn said casually. She only let it show that she was only slightly worried about crashing, now if that was the case I would have to dig deeper but I was too nervous myself to find out.

"Is this really the time?" I asked, looking over at her. She lightly shrugged and smirked a little.

"Just saying."

The ship jolted hard again, as if we hit something.

"Hold on tight, we're coming down hard!"

I squeezed Jyn's hand and the seat tighter, not knowing how hard we would hit the ground. When it happened, we all jolted forward terribly. Everything and everyone was still, the rain coming down hard and rolling off the sides of the ship which contributed to the eerie situation we were in.

"Is everyone okay?" I asked, my voice airy and strained. It broke through the silent and still air, waking everyone from their silence. Everyone nodded or responded and luckily none of us were harmed. What do we do now? Cassian seemed to be able to read my thoughts because he was the next to speak up about a plan.

"We'll need a ship and to get back communication with the base," he said. Bodhi told him about the basic layout of the base. "We'll have to hope there's an Imperial ship left to steal. Here's what we're doing. Hopefully, the storm keeps up and keeps us hidden down here. Bodhi, you're coming with me. We'll go up the ridge and check it out."

Cassian grabbed a blaster and meddled with it after pulling on a rain jacket. I immediately stood up and was going to grab one too.

"I'm coming with you," I said.

"Me too," Jyn said from beside me. Cassian grabbed my wrist while I was trying to grab an extra jacket.

"No, your father's message. We can't risk it," he reasoned. I rolled my eyes at his excuse and tried to pull my wrist from his grasp but he would let go, instead he just stared into my eyes. "You're the messenger."
