"Sir, sorry for interrupting but the other Erso was hiding with the rest of them," the guard said while pulling me in. He quickly left after he thought I wouldn't fight him or run.

"Little Ahli'ee, are we also not friends? Have we split so far apart that your sister would act so coldly towards me and you'd rather be imprisoned than face me?" Saw asked, his voice strained.

"That's what happened anyway," I muttered, unsure if he heard me or not.

"The last time we saw you, you gave us a knife and a loaded blaster each and told us to wait in a bunker until daylight," Jyn said, her tone accusing and hard. I grabbed her hand to show her my support.

"I knew you were safe!" Saw replied.

"You left us behind!" Jyn's voice was becoming strained and we both had tears coming to our eyes.

"You were already my best soldier in my cadre, Jyn, and Ahli'ee was talented with healing and technology," Saw argued.

"I was sixteen, Ahli'ee was fourteen! We were only teenagers!" Jyn cried. I felt tears streaming down my face but Jyn was stronger and was able to keep them in.

"I was protecting you!"

"You dumped us!" I yelled through my tears. Jyn had pulled me to her side and we were clutching onto each other knowing we would collapse without the other there.

"You were the daughters of an Imperial science officer! People were starting to figure that out, people who wanted to-to use you as a hostage. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you both," Saw admitted, looking completely broken. His words were soft and strained, showing how fragile the once strong and fearless leader had become. "But today, of all days? It's a trap, isn't it?"

I looked at him confused and shaking my head, thinking that the action could maybe clear it.

"What?" I asked, the word watery as it broke through my tears.

"The pilot, the message, all of it," Saw said, as if that would help clear our confusion. "Did they... did they send you here to kill me? Did you come here to kill... me?"

His words were slow and disbelieving. I scrunched my eyebrows together, asking myself that question. Was that what Draven was telling Cassian before we left?

"There's not much of me left," Saw commented. He wasn't wrong since most of him was replaced parts and he needed to take a breath through an oxygen tank.

"The Alliance wants our father, they think he's sent you a message. I guess they think by sending me you might actually help them out," Jyn replied first since she had a clearer head at the moment. Saw looked at the both of us before replying.

"Is that what you want, Jyn?" Saw said, ignoring me because he knew I was having a hard time. Jyn stood up straighter and pulled me closer.

"They wanted an introduction, they've got it. I'm out now, the rest of you can do what you want," Jyn sharply stated. Saw looked at her, aghast, not understanding how Jyn could not want anything to do with this mess.

"You care not about the cause?" Saw asked as if he were heartbroken.

"The cause? Seriously? The Alliance? The-the Rebels, whatever you call yourselves these days? All it's ever brought me is pain," Jyn stated factly. The figurative knife in Saw's heart seemed to drive in deeper with every word Jyn said.

"You can stand to see the Imperial flag reign across the galaxy?" Saw asked.

"It's not a problem if you don't look up."
