I was laying on my side on the bed, regretting my suggestion that we both sleep on it but if the Captain woke up and found me on the floor, I wouldn't hear the end of it so I continued to stare at the wall with my back to him. The room we were in reminded me of the ones at the Rebellion base. It was the same grey color and wasn't decorated at all. There was a large window, though, that overlooked the planet, just like in the dining room. My stream of thought was interrupted when I heard a grunt.

I looked over at the Captain who looked like he was in pain. He then let out a whimper and then started to throw himself around. I instantly knew he was having a nightmare and was reacting to it in a negative way. I turned back around and faced the wall again, planning to ignore the Captain. However, after another minute of it, I started to pity him so I turned around and faced him, pushing up on my arm.

"Captain," I whispered. I rolled my eyes at my own attempt to wake him, knowing that whispering wouldn't do anything. I jabbed his arm a couple times while repeating Captain. Still no effect, except he was having a worse nightmare. I sat up more and leaned over him.

"Captain, wake up, please. Wake up," I said gently, bringing one hand to his face and stroking it. The scruff scratched my hand but it was a nice feeling on my hand. I quickly stopped thinking about it and focused on waking the Captain. "Wake up."

The Captain snapped his eyes open and grabbed my wrist, flipping me over so he was on top. He looked shocked and a bit scared but stayed on top of me. I slowly brought up my hand, careful to not shock him, and put it on his cheek again, slowly stroking it.

"It's okay, it's just me. You're okay, you're here, you're with me. Whatever you dreamed about, it's not happening, you're with me. You're safe, I'm here," I whispered, slowly making the Captain realize where he was. He nodded and gulped, sliding back to his side of the bed. He looked like he was back asleep and I was about to turn away again when I heard a quiet voice, so quiet I thought it wasn't real.

    "Thank you."

I turned around to face him and I saw the Captain had fallen asleep on his side too. I closed my eyes after making sure he was okay one last time and fell asleep.

I woke up because of the sun shining in my eyes. The warmth that it brought was comforting and I smiled a little before opening my eyes. The Captain was staring at me as I woke up and cleared his throats when I caught him staring. "Breakfast is in about half an hour."

I nodded before getting raising up on one of my elbows slowly while the other was rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. Once I was fully awake, I slid out of bed and crossed over to the box to grab a pale yellow dress. It was styled the same way as the one I wore the day before and I decided it would look the best in the morning. I quickly changed into it and styled my hair into a half up, half down way. I walked back into the room and walked over to the Captain who was staring out the window with his arms behind his back.

"It's beautiful here in the morning," I stated, not looking at the man standing beside me.

"Today is the only day we have to find out as much as possible. You'll have to find a way to get back here to hack into the systems while I'm with Krennic. After that, it's the farewell lunch and we get to leave," the Captain explained. I nodded before walking out of the room with the Captain following me. As we got in line he grabbed my hand, interlocking our fingers and giving my hand a gentle squeeze.

The two of us walked into the dining room, realizing that we were the last people there so we sat down where we sat in the night before. Plates were put in front of us and I picked my fork delicately. Krennic being there and continuously watching me made me extremely nervous and I think the Captain could tell because he switched hands with his fork to gently grabbed my hand. I looked over to him and gave him a grateful look before looking at my food again but my appetite was gone.
