The Disaster of Kalos (An Ending to Pokemon XYZ)

Part Nine

Everyone stared at Alain because of what he just said.

"What do you mean by that?" Clemont asked.

"Lysandre is a very powerful man, and he would not hesitate to get us out of the way," Alain replied, clenching his fists. "He is ruthless. I should know."

Everyone nodded silently, and stayed that way until Serena gasped.

"What is it Serena?" Ash asked, looking at his friend.

"Look!" Serena replied, pointing out the window. 

Everyone looked to where Serena was pointing to. Below them, running, were Diantha, Tierno, Shauna, Trevor, and Sawyer. 

"They're going to be in trouble soon," Mairin said, pointing out another window.

Everyone adverted their gaze to see Lysandre, Malva, and other Team Flare members preparing to attack the unsuspecting people. 

"Steven, turn this helicopter around right now!" Prof. Sycamore yelled at Steven. "We need to help them!"

"Right away!" Steven replied, turning the steering wheel.

Diantha suddenly stopped running, resulting in the four trainers running into her. 

"What's the problem Diantha?" Tierno asked.

"Look," Diantha replied, pointing.

The trainers looked to see Team Flare standing guard in front of them, their Pokemon by their side.

"We'll fight back," Sawyer said, taking out a pokeball. "Go, Sceptile."

"Ivysaur, come out," Shauna said, releasing her partner Pokemon.

"Charizard," Trevor said, Charizard coming out of its pokeball by itself.

"Blastoise," Tierno said, following suit.

Diantha nodded at the trainers, and motioned them to begin walking slowly.

"Pyroar, Flamethrower!"

All five of them looked to see a Flamethrower coming towards them.

"Blastoise, Hydro Pump!" Tierno commanded.

Blastoise obeyed, and the two attacks met, resulting in a giant cloud of steam. All five of them closed their eyes as the steam began to slowly fade away. Shauna was the first to open her eyes and she screamed a warning to the others. Many Flamethrowers were aimed at them, and Shauna clung onto Trevor in fear.

"Gardevoir, Protect!" Diantha commanded.

"Gar!" Gardevoir replied, using the move.

Just before the Flamethrowers hit, a white light came from nowhere, and hit the Flamethrowers, blocking the attacks.

"What was that?" Tierno asked, looking up.

They all looked up to see a helicopter landing next to them. Alain, Mairin, Ash, Serena, Steven, Prof. Sycamore, Bonnie, and Clemont were all on the helicopter, their Pokemon by their sides.

"Come on guys!" Ash yelled.

They all looked at each other, then ran onto the helicopter. Steven turned the helicopter around, and they began to fly towards Lumiose City.

"Boss, what do we do now?" a Team Flare grunt asked Lysandre.

"We must kill them all," Lysandre said, turning around. "The two Zygardes will help us."

"Houndoom, Flamethrower!" Malva suddenly said.

Lysandre turned around in shock to see Malva's Houndoom aim a Flamethrower at some rocks. Three shocked screams sounded, and Team Rocket appeared from the rocks.

"It's you three," Malva said, frowning.

"You know them?" Lysandre asked.

"They were my camera crew," Malva replied, walking towards Team Rocket.

"Gourgeist, Shadow Ball!" Jessie suddenly said, releasing her Pokemon.

"Inkay, Psybeam!" James said, following suit.

"FLAMETHROWER!" Malva and Lysandre commanded.

The attacks hit, resulting in Inkay and Gourgeist flying backwards and hitting Team Rocket. They fell, unconscious, onto the ground.

"What should we do with them, Lysandre?" Malva asked.

"Take them back to the lab," Lysandre replied. "If we use the Mega Evolution ray Xeorsic invented, maybe then they could be of use to us."
