The Disaster of Kalos (An Ending to Pokemon XYZ)

Part Ten

James groaned, and opened his eyes. He got up, and decided to walk forward. Before he knew it, he slammed into some bars. Shock come over him as he grabbed the bars. Looking around his surroundings, he was able to figure out where he was.

Team Flare grunts were running around, not noticing their prisoners. James turned around to see Jessie and Meowth lying on the ground. All of their Pokemon had been returned to their pokeballs, and were gone. James watched as his two teammates groaned, and woke up. 

"Wha-where are we?" Meowth asked, looking around his surroundings. 

"Team Flare Headquarters," James replied, walking towards them.

"Figures," Jessie murmured. "But why do they want us?"

"Who knows?" James replied.

"Team Rocket. What a pitiful group."

All three of them turned around to see Malva open the bars to the prison, and walk towards them.

"Why are you here?" James asked angrily.

"Setting you losers free," Malva answered, cautiously looking over her shoulder. "I understand what Lysandre is trying to do, but he's not doing it the right way." Malva sighed. "I'm leaving Team Flare."

Team Rocket looked at each other before looking back at Malva.

"How do we know that you are telling the truth?" Jessie asked, suspiciously. 

"Jessie, you just need to look at her," Meowth said. "She's telling the truth."

Malva took out three pokeballs, and rolled them towards the group. Jessie and James picked them up, and put them away. Malva then proceeded to leave, motioning them to follow. 

"There's a helicopter out back," Malva whispered. "We can take it, find Lysandre, and defeat him."

"You really want to get rid of him, huh?" James asked.

"I don't want to talk about it." Malva sounded hurt when she replied to James, which made him silent. 

"Hey!" 

A Team Flare grunt noticed them and shouted for backup. 

"Let's go!" Malva said, taking off, Team Rocket following her.

"We were heading to Lysandre Labs," Diantha told Prof. Sycamore when he asked what she, Trevor, Shauna, Tierno, and Sawyer were doing. "That's where the two Zygardes are being held, I think."

"I think that they are controlling them with a mind contoller," Clemont pondered. 

"So all we have to do is destroy it and the two Zygardes will be free?" Ash asked.

"Don't forget that we also have to get rid of Lysandre and Team Flare," Alain pointed out.

"And get the cure for Chespie," Mairin added. 

Suddenly, everyone was violently jerked to the side, and they cried out as they rammed into each other.

"What's with the crazy driving?" Serena asked, rubbing her head. 

"Sorry guys," Steven apologized, turning around in the driver's seat. "Another helicopter just appeared out of nowhere and almost hit us."

Shauna hit a button that opened the door, and a powerful wind whipped the faces of the others.

"Shauna, what are you doing?" Trevor asked, confused.

"Look," Shauna pointed.

Everyone looked to see that the helicopter that almost hit them was flying right next to them, and their door was open too, revealing Team Rocket.

"WE'RE WITH YOU TWERPS!" James yelled from the helicopter.

Everyone looked at each other before nodding and smiling.

"GLAD TO KNOW!" Ash yelled back.

James smiled, and both helicopters closed their doors. 

"We need more allies to be able to stop Team Flare," Tierno said.

"I'm already on it," Diantha replied, taking out her phone.

Viola was walking out of her Gym when Grant ran up to her with a panicked look on his face.

"Grant?" Viola asked, in confusion. "What's wrong."

"Lumiose City is under attack!" Grant replied. "Diantha just told me! She needs backup!"

"Well, then she'll get some," Viola replied, releasing her Vivillion. "Let's go."

"I have my car with me," Grant said, releasing his Tyrunt. "It's faster than running."

"You two aren't leaving without me!" 

Viola and Grant turned to see Alexa there, her Heliopotile on her shoulders.

"Alexa!" Viola said, surprised. "Why are you here?"

"I just can't let my little sister run into danger," Alexa replied, walking towards them. "Besides Diantha probably needs a lot of backup."

Ramos was outside trimming his grass when he was almost knocked down by Korrina skating by, her Lucario by her side.

"Ramos!" Korrina said in surprise. "What are you doing? Didn't you get a call from Diantha?"

"No, I didn't," Ramos replied, confused. "What's wrong?"

"Lumiose City is being destroyed!" Korrina replied. "Diantha called for backup!"

"Then we must hurry!" Ramos stated, releasing his Gogoat.

Valerie and Wulfric were walking towards Lumiose City to meet up with Prof. Sycamore, Spritzee and Abomasnow by their sides, when Olympia suddenly appeared in front of them, causing them to scream in surprise.

"Please never do that again!" Wulfric said angrily.

"This is an emergency Wulfric," Olympia said simply, both of her Meowstic nodding with her. "Lumiose City is being destroyed by Team Flare, and Diantha called on us for help."

"And help will come," Valerie said, smiling.
