"Wow, I forgot how big this place was," Ash murmured as he and Serena navigated Prism Tower's halls.
Serena just silently nodded her head, looking around the dark hallways nervously. Not hearing a reply from his friend, Ash turned to face Serena, raising an eyebrow.
"You okay Serena?" Ash asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Serena flinched at the touch with wide eyes, her breathing becoming quicker. Realizing that it was Ash in front of her, she slowly calmed down.
"Yeah, I'm fine Ash," Serena replied, giving him a weak smile.
Ash looked unconvinced, but he gave Serena's shoulder a reassuring squeeze before turning around and leading the way. Serena sighed, her nervousness still leaving her slowly. Thinking she heard something, she turned her head a little, but saw nothing. Not wanting to be left behind, she ran after Ash.
"Do you even know where we are going?" Serena asked, finally breaking the silence.
"No idea," Ash replied, a grim look on his face.
Serena just nodded, and silence took over again.

"I say we go left," Jessie said, pointing left.
"I saw we go right," James argued, pointing right.
The two had arrived at a hallway that went in two different directions. They began to argue to which way they should go.
"How are we going to decide which way to go?" James asked, confused.
"We're going left," Jessie replied, smirking at James.
"What makes you think that we're going left?" James asked, looking at her.
"Because I make the decision around here, James," Jessie replied, winking and accenting James' name. "Let's go."
She turned on her heels, and began to walk down the left hallway. James sighed to himself before he ran after his partner.
She's going to get us killed, James thought grumpily.

"Aren't they going to miss you in Hoenn?" Diantha asked Steven as they made their way towards the battlefield in Prism Tower.
"No, not really," Steven replied, shaking his head. "Kalos needs me more than Hoenn right now."
"Thank you for helping us," Diantha said, smiling at him.
"Of course," Steven said, returning the smile. "It's a pleasure to help a fellow Champion."
Diantha's smiled widened a little, before she frowned again.
"I just wish that we could have just met up without these dire consequences," Diantha sighed. "This is the most terrible thing that has ever happened to Kalos."
Steven nodded solemnly, his smile fading. "I understand."
The two soon became quiet, and walked on in silence.

Tierno suddenly stopped walking, causing Sawyer to walk into him.
"What's the matter Tierno?" Sawer asked, concern in his voice.
"I-I thought that I heard something," Tierno replied, shrugging it off.
Sawyer raised an eyebrow at Tierno, but Tierno just continued walking.
Suddenly, they felt the building shake, causing them to fall to the floor.
"What was that?!?" Sawyer asked, whipping his head around wildly.
