New Year Celebrations (Baby Series)

Continuing on from the baby series I started before all the Christmas imagines :) Happy New Year once again! x *not edited*

Since having your baby, you thought it would be best to stay home for the New Year and avoid major parties or fireworks where heavy drinking would be involved. Of course Niall would have a few drinks at home, but it wouldn't be anything like being out.

There you were, sat on your living room couch with your baby girl in your arms. Niall sat next to you, a bottle of beer in his hand as you sat with your head rested on his shoulder. It was nearing midnight and your baby girl was still awake because she kept getting woken up by the multiple sets of fireworks going on around your house.

"I can't believe what this year has bought us, Ni. I'm so glad to have you in my life and now Ciara. You both mean so much to me, I love you." You say, looking up at Niall.

"I love you baby, and Ciara. You've given me the greatest gift and I can't thank you enough. Thank you for everything you've done for me this year baby girl, I can't imagine my life without you. I can't wait to spend another year with you." Niall says, leaning in to kiss you.

You're watching the New Year's Eve special on the tv but as you make small talk, it isn't your main focus. You hear the countdown begin and you get excited. The year was finally over.

"10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1..Happy New Year." You hear on the tv.

Before the countdown reached 1, you pulled Niall into a kiss and you held it until after it had finished, ringing in the new year the right way.

"Happy New Year my love." You say when you break away.

"Happy New Year baby girl. I feel like this is going to be our year." Niall says.

"Guess what!?" You say excitedly.

"What is it?" Niall chuckles at your over-excitement.

"Your album comes out this year." You say, fangirling even though he is your husband. At that, Niall laughs loudly, kissing you on the forehead.

"It sure does baby, and you'll be the first to hear it." He says, still chuckling.

"Happy New Year baby girl. We love you so much." You say to Ciara, bringing her towards you so you can leave a kiss on her forehead.

"Happy New Year baby, thank you for coming into our lives. Mummy and daddy love you so much baby girl." Niall says, also doing the same and leaving a kiss on her forehead.  "I need to take a photo of her and post it on Instagram." He says, pulling out his phone from beside him.

'This little one couldn't sleep from all the fireworks around us but we rung in the new year right. I couldn't have asked to spend this past year with anyone better than the two loves of my life, Y/N and Ciara. They're my happiness and today definitely is the start of a happy new year because I'll have them by my side. I love my girls and all of you so much. Happy New Year guys!'  The caption reads.

Afterwards, he wraps his arm around your shoulder, bringing you closer to place another kiss on your lips .

"We forgot about the fireworks." He states, chuckling as you realise it's already 5 minutes into the new year.

You sit back and relax in Niall's arms as you watch the fireworks and your gaze occasionally diverts to Ciara or Niall. They are your biggest blessings in life and you are so grateful for them.
