Yuri's POV

It's been almost a month since that night.

The police men did find Victor's body, but I haven't been allowed to see him yet. Whenever I try to go to see him, someone stops me and says 'Sir, please, just let us do our work so we can help Mr. Nikiforov get better.'

Then they would say that I would get to see him soon, but I'm pretty sure that they're lying about that.

On another subject, Otabek and Pitchit have practically moved in with me. Honestly I think they're afraid that I'm going to cut myself or something, if I'm alone.. they might be right.

Of course Otabek isn't here nearly as much as Pitchit— who has quite litterly made himself at home— because he still lives with Yurio, of course.

I-I miss you so much Victor.. I thought glumly. Tears formed in my eyes, threatening to spill over, but I blinked them back. If I was at home, I would have cried for hours, but I'm not. At the moment, Pitchit and I were walking along the shore side in silence.

Usually I would be glad for the quite, but recently, I've wanted nothing more than to hear Victor's cheerful, sweet voice yelling at me about waking up late.

At that thought, I couldn't fight the tears anymore. I fell to the ground, and sobbed into my hands.

Pitchit rushed over to me, and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, murmuring something about going home.

Victor's POV

I was woken up by sobbing nearby. I tried to open my eyes, but it was like they were sewed shut. Nevertheless, after a few minutes of struggling to, I finally did manage to open my eyes, instantly regretting it.

The first thing I saw was Yuri kneeling by a giant hunk of rock, sobbing into his hands.

I tried to rush over to him, and wrap my arms around his small frame, but when I tried to touch him, my hands went right through his body. I started at Yuri in shock, thinking that he would've noticed me by now, but he didn't even look up from where he was. "Y-Yuri? Wh-what's going on?"

He still didn't look up at me though. I started to panic; surely this was a cruel joke or something.. right? "Y-Yuri! T-this isn't funny! Pl-please talk to me!" I screamed, as tears started pouring down my cheeks.

Luckily, Yuri did look up in my direction. "Yu-Yuri! That's not funny! I swear I'm going to have a heart attack if you ever do that to me again! I still love you though!" I said trying to wrap my arms around him again, but still going right him.

"Yuri. I'm sorry.. we have to go now though." An unknown voice said from behind me.

Yuri shook his head, as I whipped mine around to see Pitchit looking sadly at Yuri. "I-I... I... can't.. leave him!!" Yuri sobbed, putting his head into his hands. "Please... don't make.. me leave!" He screamed.

It broke my heart to hear Yuri scream like that. And it seemed it broke Pitchit's heart too. "Yuri... you know we can't stay here forever.. I-I'm sorry.." Pitchit said quietly. "Y-you.. you have to let him go.. Victor's gone."

As he said that, my blood ran cold. I looked slowly over to the stone Yuri was crying over, slowly realizing what it was. Engraved on the stone, was something that made me want to turn back time.

Victor Nikiforov

1989—2017

Loving boyfriend

Dear friend

"I always do the exact opposite of what people expect. How else are you supposed to suprise them?"

There was even an ice skate on the bottom of the grave stone. I looked up from the grave to see Yuri fighting to go back to the grave.

I guess Pitchit had called over some of the other skaters to help him get Yuri to the car, as Otabek, Chris, JJ, and Yurio were all trying to restrain Yuri, while Pitchit was trying to get him to calm down.

Which seemingly wasn't working.

Suddenly, I was in a completely different place. I looked around and saw thousands of crying people. Some of them I knew, but most of the people were strangers. The room I was in looked like a giant warehouse with a stage in the center of it all, being the only thing filling space other than all of the people.

I watched the whole scene go down from above.

I watched as Minako walked up onto the stage, and grabbed a microphone from a short man dressed in all black. The man rushed off the stage, as Minako— who was dressed in all black as well— started talking.

"We are here today, to mourn the death of one of my dear friends, and worldwide skating legend; Victor Nikiforov." She paused for a moment to wipe a tear from her cheek, and continued, "Victor was not only one of my friends, but also a loving boyfriend. Sadly, though, he recently jumped off a bridge.. and committed.. suicide." Minako looked down as tears started pouring down her face. She ran off the stage, saying that she couldn't say anything more on this topic.

Then I was somewhere else again.

I looked around at my surroundings cautiously, but saw no one anywhere. I was in a small apartment living room. There was a small window near what I assumed was the front door, as well as a couch and t.v. In the room.

Suddenly, the front door opened, to reveal Yuri. He looked so broken-hearted, there were tear stains on his face; which was very thin, as if he hadn't been eating. Yuri's clothes hung off of his body limply, as he made his way over to the counter, and picked up a object wrapped in white paper.

He quickly ripped the paper off of the object, to reveal a small, black gun. My eyes widened in horror as Yuri loaded the gun, and pointed it at his heart.

Time seemed to slow down as Yuri pulled the trigger of the gun; still pointing it directly at his heart. I closed my eyes tightly, as the sound of a gun shot was heard throughout the small apartment.

I couldn't be there anymore. I ran as fast as I could away from that scene.
