Yuri had always dreamed of the day when he could say that he had met his ice skating idol: Victor, but he had never even imagined that he would get to be coached by the Russian man. When Victor showed up at Yuri's house and offered to coach the younger male, Yuri was so surprised. He, very,
nearly fainted from shock and excitement.
Now here he was, laying on his bed, after winning silver in the Cup of China, scrolling through the apps on his phone. After about half an hour, Yuri's bedroom door creaked open to reveal Victor standing in the doorframe with a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
"Um Yuri?" Victor said tentatively. "C-can I come in?" Yuri looked up from his phone, got up, and stretched like a cat. "Yeah, you know you can come in whenever you want," Yuri mumbled, staring at his usually hyper coach as if he had a second head. "Well, within reason of course. So don't you even think about coming into my room at 2 am again!"
"Ok..." Victor said still smiling brightly. "Uh, here," the silver-haired male said, shoving the flowers into Yuri's arms. "You did a really great job today Yuri, so I wanted to get you something..." Victor said trailing off. His usually snow white face had turned bright red though he had tried to hide it.
"Thank you Victor," Yuri said blushing a little bit. "But you know that you didn't have to do that right?" He added as an afterthought.
"Well, I know but... I just really enjoyed your performance and I wanted to get something to show you that." Victor said in a rush, his head still ducked down and bright red.
Yuri was delighted that Victor had liked his performance. "Thank you!" The raven-haired male said smiling brightly.
An tentative smile crept across Victor's face as he said, "Yuri, do you want to have a pork cutlet bowl? I believe your mom was preparing to make some earlier today."
Yuri was a bit skeptical; Victor never allowed him to have those unless he won gold. "But I didn't win, and I'm not allowed to eat them unless I win the competition right?"
Victor smiled, "well technically.. " Victor said, pausing to think, "You did win something today..." A slight blush found its way onto Victor's face again.
"Huh, Victor are you alright? I didn't win anything, other than silver. Which, by the way, isn't winning!" Yuri replied, still confused at what his coach was saying.
"W-well, Yuri, the t-thing you won today w-was my h-heart" Victor ducked his head down again and his silver hair falling into his eyes, covering his face.
Yuri turned bright red and stared at Victor like he was a rare exotic bird of some sort. "Yuri... say something.. please.." Victor's voice came out as almost a whisper.
He hadn't planned to ask Yuri out after his competition, he knew that skaters could get very cranky, but, well, he couldn't help himself. It had been only four hours that he hadn't seen the younger male, but even in that short amount of time it had become very hard for Victor to stay away from him.
Almost without thinking, Victor went into town, bought some flowers, and now was standing in front of Yuri's door debating whether or not to walk in.
'I mean he could be asleep and if he woke up and saw me standing there that would be creepy... buuttt he might not be asleep. He might be awake and then I wouldn't look like a total creepy stalker.'
Victor decided to just peek his head through the doorway to see. Luckily for Victor, Yuri was awake just scrolling through his phone.
'God, he's so adorable, but he won't ever be able to return the same feelings to me. Although it couldn't hurt to ask him out and get it out of the way I suppose.'
"Um... Yuri?"
'Why is my voice so uneven, dang it?'

"Yuri... say something.. please.."
'Why? Why did I let the conversation go in this direction? Jesus I'm soooo stupid!'
Tears started forming in Victor's eyes "V-Victor... I l-love you too..." Yuri said his face turning a deep red color.
"Y-you do? But I thought you liked Minako? A-and you're not gay right?? RIGHT?" Victor said his voice growing higher and higher in pitch with each syllable.
"A-actually, I am. I really only found out recently though, so I'm sorry if I put out a weird vibe for a while." Yuri said, his face still a beet red.
"You a-are," Victor asked his eyes wide and face bright red. "T-then.... will you be my b-boyfriend...?"
'Jesus if he says no then oh Lord it's going to be very awkward between us. I should never have said anything.'
Yuri had ducked his head and was now looking up at Victor through his eyelashes and smiling. "Y-yes I would love to be your boyfriend.." Yuri said quietly, suppressing a small smile.
