miyoung kept her grip tight on my wrist as she pulled me forward, towards the crowd, a smirk playing at her lips.

"what're you-" before i could finish my sentence, miyoung placed a finger in front of my mouth, signaling me to keep quiet. i did as told, simply letting miyoung drag me wherever she felt. but, she abruptly stopped in the center of the street, the blocked off one, and let my wrist go. i rubbed the red ring around my wrist, the tender skin making me wince every time i touched it.

"hey everyone!" she shouted, waving her hands in air. my eyes widened as i looked around for a place to hide, immediately finding a concrete cylinder to hide behind. i darted towards it, peeking around it enough to be able to see miyoung. "hey! everyone!" miyoung repeated herself, this time louder. the screams eventually died down as the crowd shifted their attention to miyoung, who although looked like a deer caught in the headlights, kept that fiery passion in her eyes.

"you all know G-Dragon?" my eyebrows softly knitted together. what was she doing?

she earned a few yes's and a few no's, and a couple of the girls began to chatter about themselves. "well, i saw him at the corner of East Street!" miyoung pointed in the direction East Street, which was a couple blocks down.

and as if on cue, the screaming resumed, and the crowd began to flood through the sidewalk, past me, and towards East Street.

miyoung perched her hands on her hips, smiling to herself. i crept out from being the cylinder, my eyes still wide and my eyebrows still knitted together.

"i can't believe you just did that." i let out a half-hearted chuckle, watching as miyoung looked towards the sidewalk, which was jam-packed with screaming fans looking for 'G-Dragon'.

"but look," miyoung stepped out in front of me, opening her arms, showcasing the clear path to the doorway of the center. "a clear pathway. now come on, let's get good seats!" she reached forward and grabbed my wrist once more, my sensitive wrist to be exact, and tugged me forward towards the doorway.

we stepped into the center, my mouth slightly agape as i took in our surrounding. i had never been in this city center before, and it was absolutely beautiful. crystal chandeliers hung highly on the ceilings, beautiful and intricate artwork was hung on the walls, and the velvet carpet was a beautiful wine shade. i felt like i was in a museum.

"tickets?" the security guard held out one of his hands, and both miyoung and i fished through our jacket pockets for our tickets. i pulled mine out of my inner jacket pocket, and miyoung pulled hers out of her outer jacket pocket. we handed the tickets to the security guard, who inspected them, then let us through with a bright smile.

"he was polite." miyoung observed, pulling me towards the entrance to the meeting room. "what if we get front seats?"

"i wouldn't count on it, i bet people are already seat-" i stopped speaking as we stood in the doorway, and to our surprise and advantage, not a person was seated within the meeting room. "i stand corrected."

"come on!" she tugged me throughout the aisles of seats, and eventually let loose of my wrist as she claimed her spot- front and center. i sat down beside her, staring up at the long panel in front of us, where i assumed the boys would be seated. "i can't believe how close we are!"

"i know," i pressed my lips into a thin line, observing my surroundings even more. this room was less decorated than the entrance hall, but was still extravagant. instead of crystal chandeliers on the ceiling, built in lights illuminated the room. instead of the intricate paintings, pictures of who i assumed was bangtan were scattered about the walls. yet, the velvet carpet i fell in love with was still intact. "i can't believe you did that, though."

"they're probably still searching." miyoung chuckled, pulling her phone out of her back pocket. "it's 1:30, it starts in an hour and a half."

"i wonder when people will start coming in."

"usually people are waiting hours before the doors open, but i think that's what that crowd was." miyoung turned her phone off, tucking it underneath her thigh.

"i kinda feel bad."

"aish, unnie, don't feel bad." miyoung began using her korean slang once again? but i didn't bother correct her. i had a tinge of worry hidden in the depths of my stomach about meeting bangtan.

although i didn't care for them or their music, i was worried about meeting them. i was more than worried, actually, i was nervous.

i hadn't met anyone famous before, let alone kpop idols. i wasn't mentally prepared to meet the boys, and i was beginning to regret agreeing to come with miyoung.

i fiddled with my thumbs in my lap as i waited for the time to pass by. with rag second that ticked by, the forming knot in my stomach began to twist, tighter and tighter, almost to the point to exploding. but, i kept my cool, my eyes locked on the clock above the panel, watching as the hands moved.
