PROJECT DAWN : THE AFTERMATH

Once and For All

[LARS VS TYLER]

The battered Lars against the restless mutated Tyler, seems to be an unfair fight. Tyler throw the punches and Lars have to block every punches. Lars is getting tiring from the blow and Tyler find an opening, then he swings a kick straight to Lars's torso which send him slam against the one of the tubes inside the lab. The test subject inside the tube awake and went rogue. The subject "I-28" break through the glass and emerge from the tube. It grabs Lars and begin to pounding him against the ground. Tyler is impressed by the act of his subject, approached it and tap on its shoulder. Unexpectedly, I-28 turn around and attack Tyler too.

Lars : Looks like your own dog turned against you....
Tyler : Bad dog.

Tyler able to block one of its fist and hold it tight. He twists it and rip it off its arm. The wound immediately healed by Tyler was just in time to get around his own test subject and decapitate it, then he rips the head in half, to Lars's horror.

Tyler : Show is over. Time to end it.

The ground begin to shake and objects around them are floating. Lars can feel the power of Tyler is multiplying by folds. He started to growl and the atmosphere is getting intense. His body went through transformation, along with the sounds of cracking bones. His eyes and ears burst and blood flow from it, his ribs is expanding and pierce through his outer skin. A pair of wings that made of hardened skin is shaping on his back. The shaking is stop and objects begin to fall. Lars, surprised and scared, saw a demonic-like creature standing infront of him.

Tyler : [demonic] THIS IS THE DAWN OF NEW ERA!
Lars : [spit] Let me tell you, douchebag. It's always dark before the dawn. Time to shed some light into your eyes.

[Devil/Karl vs Dave/Michael]

Dave and Michael are dodging endlessly from the attack of the other duo. Devil is attacking from the range while Karl is attacking at close range. Each times Devil swings his katana, a slice of beam act as projectile that cuts through anything on its path. Then, at one point, Dave are caught by the beam and his left arm got sliced off by Devil. Devil strikes once more but Michael was just there in time to save Dave.

Karl : Don't forget that I'm here!

Karl leap towards the duo. Within that split seconds, Dave regenerate his arm and molded it into pointy sharp end and about to thrust it deep into Karl's body but Devil saw it and immediately leap front and stop the thrust with his own body. Michael draw his gun out and aim directly onto Devil's head and Karl manage to split the gun into pieces with his swift attacks. He kicks the duo off the ground and at the same time pulls Devil away from the Dave's arm.

Devil : That's a big hole on my fucking chest. [cough blood]
Karl : You'll be fine anyway. Now get up and-

Dave leap towards the ground and he missed his thrusting attack by inches which almost hit Karl, Michael appeared from behind and slam Karl's face straight to the ground. He tries to get up and Michael slam his face once more. Karl went out cold and it leave only Devil to face the duo alone. He grabs Karl's katana and he wields two.

Devil : See if you can survive this.

[Ghost and Red against the world]

The hordes are keep coming endlessly and they are running out of ammo. Ghost and Red is fighting on the frontline with their bare hands. Wayne and the rest of survivors and guards are keep firing towards the mutants. Ray tries to save as many ammo as he can and do as many "two birds with one stone" shot.

[Jake]

He grabs his rifle and leave the evaporated dead body of his late father and went straight to the top floor. He bust through the door at the end of the hallway and he can't find the president which unbeknownst to him was fighting below the ground against Lars. But he saw someone is sitting on the desk. A man with a fine pair of black suit.

MAN : Greetings, Jake.
Jake : Who the fuck are you? Tell me where is the president!
MAN : Name is Sax. Pleased to meet you, sir.
Jake : I don't have time to fuck around!
Sax : I'll tell you but first you've got to tell me. After you have done killing the president, what would you do?
Jake : Does it matter to you?
Sax : Nope. But it's matter to you and your world. Your friends, your family, your wife....your son.
Jake : Keep my family off of your business!
Sax : You hold a grudge against the man who killed your father. The man who probably the caused the death of your mother. The man who ruined your fifteen years of life. Tell me, if you killed him, would it change?
Jake : H-how did you know all of this?!
Sax : One day I'll tell you but you've got to tell me first.
Jake : ....
Sax : See. Nothing. You want to kill a man just to justify what he had done to your life. You want a better future but you can't erase the dreadful past.
Jake : What are you talking about?
Sax : You want a new start for humanity? A new fresh and peaceful era? You'll know what to do when you faced president Tyler.

Sax disappeared from his sight and then he found himself is not on the same room he was in before. He's in a hallway with a bright light at the end of it. He runs to it and went straight into the light. He arrived at a lab and he saw two men are fighting at the middle of it.

It was Lars and Tyler.
