PROJECT DAWN : THE AFTERMATH

[Tyler vs Jake/Lars]

Jake grabs Tyler and lift him off the ground, then smash him down. Only to be pulled by Tyler's hand and Tyler swings his face against the ground, then stomp Jake's head with his leg. He turns around and he sees Lars is about to strike but he able to stop him. He grabs Jake and slams Lars with him. At this level, Tyler is way stronger than both of them combined. But that doesn't stop them from trying as their sheer determination to end this once and for all. They try to get up but they are in agonizing pains. However, Jake manage to find his strength and tries to get up, only to be stopped by Lars.

Lars : Hold on. I have a plan.
Jake : Make sure getting squashed to death isn't one of them.
Lars : I want you, no matter what, to hold him as long as you have to. I'm going to search for anything to put him down. 
Jake : Why don't you face him? Why it has to be me?!
Lars : Because, Jake, You're stronger than me. You know that!
Jake : .....

Jake stands up and wipe the dust off his shirt.

Jake : Make sure you didn't take too long...
Lars : Trust me.

Lars make his way to one of the exits and Tyler immediately blink in to stop him. Jake grabs Tyler's head and pin him down to the ground as Lars on his way to where he's intended to. Not far from the labs, he found an armory.

Lars : Exactly what I need!

[Karl/Devil vs Dave/Michael]

Devil is down on his knee, panting.

Devil : This can't be possible...

Dave and Michael are healing up after get sliced into pieces by Devil. The use of his mutant's power also greatly affected him, especially his life force.

Dave : What's the matter?
Michael : This is boring. Let's get this over with and help boss.
Dave : Gladly....

Their body begins to undergo a transformation as their bodies are fusing together as one, scary-looking mutant. Their strength and speed are multiple by folds. With a speed of a fired bullet, they charge toward Devil and tear him into pieces while they are enjoying it with laughter.

Dave/Michael : WEAKLING! MWAHAHAHAHA

Then, they felt something sharp is piercing the back of their head.

Devil : The mutation is not improving your eyesight? 

They look at the body they destroyed and it was just a decoy. They try to push Devil off their back but they are surprised to see their regenerating ability is not working as Devil slowly plunge his katana down their skull.

Devil : A fool first lesson is their last.

Suddenly, Karl appeared infront of them and strike their heart with his katana. The duo are down to their knees, can't believe what had just happened to them. Without Karl and Devil realization, they pull out a detonator and push the button.

SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE IN FIVE MINUTES. PLEASE EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY

They surprised of the announcement and make a run of it. Halfway to the top, Karl fell down against the stair as he was injured due to the fight he had. Devil lifts him off the ground and place one of his arm onto his shoulder. They reached the ground level and surprised to see the government and their army are working together. Wayne saw them both of immediately assist them away from the building. All of them are running away from the place and then few moments later, an explosion. Ray approaches them.

Ray : Where are they?!
Wayne : Huh...?
Karl : Still....there.....
Red : Jake and Lars are still there?!
Devil : ....Yes.
Wayne : I heard the announcement and we shouldn't be alive if the time was five minutes!
Karl : ......

Karl gathers is last strength and slowly walk to the ledge.

Karl : It was two minutes late.....
Ray : What does it mean?! Tell me!!
Karl : This is Lars's last resort. To stop this madness with any mean neccessary.....
Ray : You mean....the explosion...?!

SEVEN MINUTES AGO.....

Tyler : Hmph. Unbelievable. Can't even rely on anybody! 
Jake : Disarm the self destruct sequence? Too confident, fucker.
Tyler : Looks like I have to do this on my own.

Tyler takes out a device and shutting down the sequence and then he crush the device with his grip. Tyler's channeling is power and somehow an orb is forming. Anything that come in touch with the orb are disintegrated into thin air. The orb is slowly approaching Jake and lay to waste anything in its path. Suddenly, the orb is moving faster and moving towards Jake. Jake dodge it and make a run towards Tyler, only be smashed by Tyler. The orb is still following Jake and Tyler pin him down to the ground, rendering him to struggle for his life. As the orb begins to come closer, the orb suddenly burst into thin air and triggered Tyler.

Tyler : WHAT THE FUCK?!

He turns around and he saw Lars standing at one of the exits he went before, but this time he brought wires.

Jake : [weakly] Told you not to take so long....
Tyler : Tie me up with a wire? You must be out of your goddamn mind.

Tyler approaches Lars and only to see Lars sudden disappearance. He chases him down everywhere but couldn't catch him. Lars pass one of the wire to Jake and they begin to move around the lab. Slowly, the wire is trapping Tyler into a difficult position. But then, he realized this is not just a trap. He looks at one of the tube and saw a C4 is attached to it.

Lars : This is it.
Jake : This is it....

The detonator is on Lars's hand. They smile and bump their fist one last time as Lars triggers the explosion.

BOOM.

The explosion wipes the whole place with shockwave and flame.

The survivors are watching as the building is slowly crumbling down to the ground. They went back to the Haven and everyone is happy to be reunited with their loved ones and families after what they had went through. Renee is among the people as she is waiting for her beloved to come home. Minutes passing by and there are still no sign or news about Jake. The last truck has arrived. She saw Karl get off the truck first, lying on a stretcher and happily hugs her brother. The wounded soldiers are moved by Red and Ghost and Renee is still waiting for Jake. Lena saw Ray had survived the war and she immediately went straight to him.

Ray : Hey....

Lena slaps him and he's surprised by it. He look at her and he can see her eyes is getting teary.

Lena : You idiot! You shouldn't let me worried sick about you!
Ray : I'm sor-

She pulls him and then kiss him. Renee is still waiting on the sideline and she can see the last person is getting off the truck. But it was Devil. 

Renee : No...This can't be....

Ray approaches her and looking at her with sad face.

Renee : Where is he...?!
Ray : ...I'm sorry, Renee.

She falls to the ground and cry.

Renee : How are [rubs her baby bump] we going to live without you......
Ray : I want you to know that Jake die a hero.

She cries as the light has gone out of her life.
