The bell rang at the end of the day and i had a detention with Ms.Maz my math teacher, I walked into class and sat down in my seat.

"Welcome to detention" she said. I rolled my eyes and put my head down.

"We're missing someone" she said.

"Hold on" she walked out into the hall way and she started yelling.

"MS.DEMARZO, DETENTIONS THIS WAY"

"I'M COMING DAMN" my head stayed down while I waited.

"Assigned seat" I heard. I heard a groan and then the chair next to me moved.

"Phones" Ms.Maz said coming around to collect to phones. I lifted my head up and saw Aaden sitting next to me. I licked my lips as I watch her put her phone into the pocket inside her jacket. I looked at her and she looked up at me.

"Please?" I asked handing her my phone. She put hers next to mine in the pocket. I grabbed my bag pretending to look for it.

"I'll got mine taken away" Aaden spoke up. I had my bag emptied on the table.

"I can't find mine" I said. She motioned for me to stand up. She checked my pockets and didn't find anything.

"Who took yours away?" I looked up and Aaden did to.

"Principal" she responded. I put my stuff into my book bag.

"Did you take Aaden's phone?" I heard being asked.

"Okay just checking" I looked at Aaden who was playing with a pencil. Everyone sat down and I got my phone back from Aaden.

"Aaden please come up here" Ms.Maz said after I put my head back down.

"Bitch what the fuck" I heard Aaden say and get up causing me to laugh.

"I don't get it, why do you do so good in my class but than your always got an attitude"

"Cause I don't like to sit in a classroom full of people I can't stand" Aaden spoke up. I laughed and then blocked all the sound out.

"Since none of you have phones, I'll be going to the teachers lounge with Mr.Albert till detentions over" she to left the room. Aaden got up and watched out the window for a while.

"Bye Aaden" a couple people said leaving the class with everything they came with.

"Bye"

"Why are people leaving?" I asked.

"Ms.Maz never comes back her and Mr.Albert leave" she said walking out.

"Aye DeMarzo!" I called out. She popped her head back in and looked at me.

"Nevermind" I smiled at her, She rolled her eyes and left. I grabbed my stuff and started walking out.

"Alex!" I heard. I looked around and saw Ethan.

"Wanna go to the skate park?" He asked.

"Sure I gotta go home and change first" I said. He nodded and I got in my car.
