after i helped my grandma i washed my hands and went up to my room. i heard my phone ring and it was a facetime call from alex.

"hi" i smiled.

"hi baby, i miss you"

"i miss you too"

"so what did you do today?"

"i went to the mall with isaac, saw sam from school and learned that carter and mindy are both pregnant, then i came home and helped with dinner, you?"

"wait mindy, like quiet, emo didn't like anyone?" he looked shocked.

"yeah"

"what the fuck" he said.

"aye watch your mouth" mama said and hit in with a cook book making me laugh.

"hi aaden" she waved at me.

"hi mama" i smiled and waved back.

"alex come here" martin said.

"i'll be back" he said. i nodded and went to scroll through instagram after a while i heard his phone getting picked up.

"who's he on facetime with?" taylor asked. i went to the app and showed my face.

"meeeee" she looked happy.

"omg hey girl, how are you?"

"good, you?"

"good, sid's here too. we're staying in a cabin in colorado and i have to share a room with her" she sighed making me laugh. she took alex's phone and ran up the stairs.

"sid look" she gave her the phone.

"oh my gosh, if it ain't little miss rose" she smiled.

"hi, sid bid" i laughed.

"i miss you" she said.

"i miss you too. how's your husband?"

"good, he's spending christmas with his family. but i'll see him soon" i nodded.

"hows it with alex?"

"i love it" i smiled.

"awe" she smiled. i heard alex yelled for his phone.

"we're gonna give you around" taylor said handing me to hallie.

"heyyy girly" she smiled running to mama aiono.

"give this to dad" she said. mama ran to martin and i talked to him for a while.

"hi mr.aiono" i said and waved.

"aaden i've know you forever, you can call me martin"
