Alex's pov

After I went home I couldn't stop smiling thinking of Aaden. I had to shower and go to sleep.

a week later

I woke up for school, put on jeans, a t-shirt, and high top vans. I ate brushed my teeth, grabbed my phone and started walking to school. Once I got there I heard Aaden and Etham yelling. Me and Aaden have gotten closer and all we've been doing is flirting with each other, acting like a couple but we're not.

I walked up to aaden and E and they were near the locker with a book in there hands. I laughed and walked up to them.

"aaden just kill it!!" ethan yelled.

"no, it's looking into my soul!!" aaden yelled looking at him.

"what soul!?"I laughed and walked over to them and there was a spider inside Ethan's locker.

"How is there a spider in here anyways?" I asked killing it with a book.

"Cause Ethan's dirty"

"am not" she rolled her eyes and walked away. I caught up to her and wrapped my arm around her.

"what's up babygirl?"

"nothing, I'm like shaking and I don't know why" she said. I grabbed her hands and they were shaking and freezing cold.

"how are your hands cold yet it's 75° out?" I asked.

"I don't know, I feel like something bad is gonna happen that's probably why" she said. I walked her to her locker then went to mine.

Towards the middle of the day I had algebra with Gray and we kept messing around. I heard the door open and Aaden came rushing in.

"I need to see Grayson" she said looking like she was about to cry.

"teachers note?" she looked at Aaden through the top of her glasses.

"no, but it's in emergency"

"You may not" the teacher spoke.

"not in the mood to argue with you, I need to speak with my brother and if not I'll fuck up your whole class room. and I don't care if I get a detention, suspension, or even expelled. now again can I speak to Grayson" Aaden closed her fist. Gray hurry up and walked to her and walked out the class with her.

I started getting worried about her. I sat there bouncing my leg till gray walked back in.

"family emergency, I'll call you later" he said grabbed his stuff and left.

Aaden's pov

I was in the middle of social studies talking to Ethan. I heard my phone ringing, I looked at the teacher and he nodded, I walked into the hallway and answered.

"hello?" I asked.

"hello, is this Aaden DeMarzo?"

"yes"

"okay, I'm a doctor in Kentucky where your father was staying, and while on his way to the store he got hit by a car and he broke his back, couple ribs, and he's sleeping at the moment. if you get the chance your more then welcome to come and see him" I started to tear up,

"okay, thank you"

"welcome" I hung up the phone and ran to Grays class. After arguing with his teacher I told him what happened.

"oh best friend I'm sorry, we can go right now to the airport" he said hugging me. I nodded and he went back into class. I went told the teacher that there was a family emergency and got Ethan too.

I hope you guys are liking the story so far this is so fun to write I love it.
