3 weeks later

we had our graduation we all got our diplomas saying we graduated 12th grade. I got accepted into 3 colleges around the united states and had to pick one.

my mom's wedding renewal thing is in 2 days and I have to wear a dress, and get a date. I was looking online when I got a call, I groaned and answered without looking at the caller ID.

"what?"

"well damn hello to you too baby" it was Alex.

"im not in the best mood right now" I said.

"what's on your mind?" he asked.

"I got my mom's wedding renewal bullshit thing in 2 day, and if I don't go I have to move back with her. I need a dress, shoes, and a date. but so far I don't have shit" I hit my head on the table.

"I'll be your date" you can hear his smile.

"are you sure, I mean my family is a piece of work and so is her husband's"

"i still wanna go with you" he chuckled.

"okay, well you need a suit"

"are we supposed to match?" he asked.

"probably, so I need to pick out a dress first. I'm going up to the mall I'm about a hour with your sister and I'll send you pictures" I said.

"okay"

"honestly I'd rather wear sweat pants and a t-shirt"

"same but we can't"

"true, well I gotta get ready then I'm coming to pick up your sister" I said.

"okay, see you later"

"bye" I hung up and got dressed. I put on my vans and let the dog back inside. I locked the house and drove to Alex's. I went up to the door and walked in.

"honey I'm home!" I yelled.

"hey sweetie" mama aiono smiled at me from the kitchen, I went into the kitchen and hugged her.

"What are you here for?" she hugged me back.

"my mom's doing a 10 year anniversary thing for her husband where they redo the whole wedding and I have to get a dress, so I'm taking hallie" I said.

"oh that'll be fun" I nodded. I heard tumbling down the stairs and alex ran into the kitchen.

"I knew I heard my babies voice" he smiled and picked me up.

"you just cracked my back" I laughed.

"sorry" he said putting me down.

"are you ready?" hallie asked coming from upstairs. I nodded and I grabbed my phone.

"I wanna go" alex pouted.
