alex's pov

after school we went home, I sat on the couch and hallie came up to me.

"what's up with you and aaden" she sat down next to me.

"she thinks that i'm playing her" I sighed.

"What happened" she asked.

"I was seeing how long it took carter to find out that i had her necklace I got her in 9th grade and replaced it with a rock from outside and dental floss but aaden thinks I'm playing her"

"did you try to explain it to her?" she asked.

"she won't speak to me" I said.

"explain to her how you really feel" she said getting up and walking away. I texted aaden and waited for a reply.

me:'aaden I need to talk to you in person its really important'

my love💓:'when and where ?'

me:'in 5 at the park by your house'

my love💓:'okay'

I got up and went to my mom.

"I'll be back later" I kissed her cheek and left the house.

I got to the park and saw her sitting in a tree with her drawing notebook.

"Hey baby" I smiled at her.

"hello"

"can you come here?"

"sure, hold this" she said giving my stuff and climbing down. she got down and we sat at a bench.

"What did you want to tell me?" she asked.

"Okay listen, ever since 7th grade I've had the biggest crush on you. I haven't told anyone but Hallie. but recently my feelings for you have been getting stronger and I just can't take it anymore. I would always block out my feelings by dating Carter, and ignoring you. I felt as if you don't like me, but when you told me the other day that you did I felt relieved. people would tell me to back away from you because you were a bad kid and didn't like anyone, but I don't see that. I see a strong independent woman who isn't afraid to stand up and express her feelings, your scared of nobody and I like that about you. my whole family adores you that if I brought Carter around my mom would kick me out. I just love everything about you, even the freakles on your face that you hate" I looked her in the eyes while expressing my feelings.

"I don't know what to say, honestly. I like you too and I-" she started, but I leaned over the table and kissed her. once I stopped i looked at her and smiled showing my teeth.

"Aaden, will you be willing to be my girlfriend?" she smiled at me.

"I'd be happy to" I kissed her cheek and started dancing. we hung out for a while and then both went home.

I ran into my house where my family was eating dinner.

"aye what the heck are you in a happy mood for?" my mom asked.

"I got a girlfriend" I smiled.

"if it's carter again or anyone else besides aaden, you can't eat shit" hallie said. I walked into the kitchen and made a plate.

"wait. are you being serious right now?" she smiled getting up. I looked at her and took a bite of my taco salad.

"FINALLY!" my mom and dad yelled. I started laughing, we sat down and ate.

aaden's pov

I walked into the house and seen ethan and gray.

"the hell are you guys doing here?" I asked taking off my shoes.

"where'd you go?" ethan asked.

"I asked a question first"

"we were supposed to go eat ice cream together" I rolled my eyes.

"when have we ever planned this"

"we didn't it was a excuse to come over" gray admitted. I laughed and watched tv.

I start school monday.😐
