Ryan's POV
10pm finally came and I grabbed my bag, said goodbye to my parents and then headed outside
Just as I did the others arrived
"Who's driving?" Veronica asked quickly as I opened my mom's minivan so we can load the stuff into it
"Me" I volunteer and they all bid in agreement as we finished getting all our stuff in
As soon as we're ready we all get in
"Everyone ready for this?" I ask nervously
"Drive already" Brian tells me hurriedly so I do as I'm told
I pull out of the drive and give Colton who's riding shotgun the address to search up on the SatNav
"This is gonna be a long ride isn't it?" Brian asked rhetorically which I find slightly worrying
"Why?" I ask because I have the distinct feeling I know what he's about to say and everyone is about to lose their shit with him
"I forgot to go to the bathroom before we left" he told us and we all immediately groaned in possibly either disgust or something else I'm not even sure of, maybe exasperation?
"You've gotta be kidding me" Veronica moaned as she rolled her eyes, she was clearly rather unappreciative of Brian's situation, but let's be honest we all were
"Come on so what's the plan? We get to New York and hen what?" Colton asked, trying to change the subject as he finished programming the SatNav for when we actually get into the city
"Also can someone remind me why we didn't just fly to New York?" Veronica asked in annoyance, still not quite pst Briana slightly gross remarks
"Because I checked and there were no flights going to New York for like a week, would you like to wait a week to go and find her?" I replied slightly more harshly than intended
"Whatever" she muttered in annoyance
"Now back to my question" Colton pushed
"I don't know, we go to the apartment she wrote down on the piece of paper she used to make the doll" I say thinking that was obvious
"Well yeah but what if she isn't there?" Colton asks
"I don't know Colton okay? If she not there than I have no more ideas, I have no other ways to find her" I tell him a bit more harshly than intended
"Okay dude I'm sorry" he replied, a little shaken by my response
"No I'm sorry, I just don't know what we can do if she's not there but I don't know what we do without her, I need her back, everyone does, but what if she's just gone forever?" I finally voice my fears to them about this and we all suddenly find ourselves in an extremely awkward silence
"If we don't find her I think we're gonna have to start moving past this" Veronica mumbled
"You're right, but she deserves one last try" I reply
We all nod in agreement and then ind ourselves in another awkward silence, dear lord this is gonna be excruciating to sit through

Double update how nice am I? I might even give you one more because they are very tense around this point so holding out on you guys I slightly pointless
