malia

I sighed flopping onto my bed. "I'm bloated."

"Same!" Shawn moaned also flopping onto his bed.

"BELLE, GET YO ASS IN THE BATHROOM!" Grayson yelled hitting me with a pillow. I groaned rolling onto my stomach.

"But seriously, you should go before us boys stank it up." Grayson laughed sitting next to me. I groaned again in response before standing up to grab my clothes from my luggage.

I walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I change into grey sweats and a white jumper.

I walked out of the bathroom checking the time, 10:00 pm. I neatly folded my clothes into my luggage and flopped onto my bed again.

"Why the fuck are you here?" I heard Ethan snap. I looked at him confused until I realised I wasn't lying on my bed. I quickly sat up in fear.

"Oh s-sorry. My bad." I panicked.

"Just please go away and watch where you're going!" He spat. I quickly rushed to my feet. I walked over to my bed and glanced back at him. I expected a cold look but instead, his eyes were glued to the window.

My back pocket vibrated. I grabbed my phone.

[ shawn ] : meet me outside the room. now please

[ malia ] : okay

I looked towards the door and saw Shawn leaving the room. I sat for a few minutes longer trying to make it subtle as possible.

[ shawn ] : you can come out now

I walked outside the room quickly, closing the door behind me.

"Hey Malia. We haven't talked much. I'm Shawn.... I'm sure you know that." He chuckled softly.

"Yeah... Hey." I laughed.

"Well how are you feeling?" He asked. I cocked my eyebrow.

"Good?" I said unsure. "That incident with E?" He pointed at the door. "Oh right... yeah no it's okay."

"Well... I'm sorry that happened." He frowned. "It's okay. He's just a bit cold."

"He's been like that for a while I guess."

"Come with me." He linked hands with me as he lead me out the hotel.

"Where exactly are we going?" I asked wiping my tears under my glasses. "Just walking around." He replied.

"Malia, if you trust me you can tell me how you're feeling." He smiled. I returned the gesture. I don't know him too well yet.

"Was it the first time Ethan has done things like this?" He asked. I shook my head no.

"Ethan is different." I said. "What do you mean?"

"I don't even know him that well but he intrigues me so much." I said. He nodded.

I looked down at my feet. "Like when I look into his eyes, I feel all sorts of things. I see anger and coldness but if you look deep enough, you can see that small hint of sadness. Maybe I'm going crazy."

"Well you guys only just met so maybe give it time?" He suggested. "Don't dwell over something like this. It'll drain you."

I nodded. "I guess I'm just a bit sensitive."

"And that's okay. Just learn to let go sometimes. Not everything in life has to be good. If he doesn't want to talk to you then maybe you should just accept it."
