I entered the room from the balcony and packed my guitar back into it's case. Shawn and I kind of wrote a song. We spent most of the night doing it. He crashed in bed at around 4am. I couldn't seem to fall asleep.

I checked the time, 6:00am. I walked into the bathroom to shower. I changed into light washed boyfriend jeans and a plain white cropped shirt. I tied my hair in a simple ponytail and slipped on my black socks.

"Morning Malia." I heard Shawn say sleepily. "Oh morning." I smiled over to him.

"Want to go down and get breakfast with me?" I asked. "Yeah sure, let me shower." He said before entering the bathroom. I sat back onto my bed. I looked over to Ethan who was covered in sheets.

"Let's go." Shawn said. I looked over to him, he wore black skinny jeans, a plain black shirt and a flannel. He looked goood. I laced up my converse and walked outside with him.

"Where to?" He asked looking around. "I have no idea." I laughed. "All shops are closed, it's literally.." I check my phone. "Seven in the morning."

"Great." Shawn chuckled. "Wait there's one shop." He said pointing to a milkshake shop. "Yes!" I beamed walking towards it.

"We can eat proper breakfast later, have this first." Shawn said. "Yeah of course." I laughed walking to the counter.

"Can I have a banana milkshake?" I asked the lady. "Of course, anything else?" She asked. I went silent, should I give Ethan one. But he wouldn't accept it. I looked back to the lady who had a stern face. Guessing she's impatient.

"And a chocolate frappe thank you." I said. I gave her the money and stepped aside for Shawn to order.

A few minutes later I grab my drinks and walked over to Shawn. "For Ethan right?" He asked. I nod.

"I hate how I tell myself that I should just let him be but I just end up trying again." I mumbled sipping my shake.

"Well if you keep trying then maybe he means something to you, even though you may not believe it." Shawn said.

"It sounds so ridiculous. I barely know him. You can't be hurt by someone you don't even know." I laughed. Shawn just shrugged.

"Shit, I forgot to tell Hayes I went out again." I said pulling out my phone. As I press the home button to text him, my phone started vibrating.

"Great timing.." I groaned answering Hayes' call. I put the phone on speaker.

"Malia!" He screamed. "Okay Hayes, I'm sorry. I did it again please don't blow." I said.

"Okay where are you?" He asked.

"With Shawn getting milkshakes."

"Okay, stay safe. See you soon."

"You too." I ended the call.

"Are you alright?" Shawn asked.

"Yes of course. Hayes is just worried like usual."

I placed the milkshake on Ethan's bedside table and left the room following Shawn. "Hey Hayes." Shawn greeted walking into the room. We decided to hang out in Cameron's room.

"Hello hello!" Hayes waved to us.

"Bart just texted." Nash informed. "We need to get ready."

"Shawn and Malia, you guys should go wake everyone up in your room." We both nodded.

"Okay meet back here in half an hour." Cameron said. We all nodded and departed.

"Well what do you think about performing our song?" Shawn asked as we walked to our room.
