I waited at the exit of the airport for Hayes. Aaron was also beside me I assume going with me?... "Yes I am Malia" He smiled sweetly at me. "Oh" I nod awkwardly.

I shifted from foot to foot waiting impatiently for Hayes. Please hurry... I was crying inside. Alyssa is probably fake, what surprises me more is that Shawn would like someone like her. I know he was smarter than that, he's just blind over her fakeness.

I sighed looking down, I feel like I did something wrong. Maybe I was too soft, I didn't do anything to try and get him back. Maybe he wasn't the right one...

"Aaron?!" I heard Nash screamed. "Malia!!" Hayes yelled. I looked up seeing two familiar faces. All my thoughts instantly went away and I was smiling widely.

I waved running to Hayes. He ran to me as I jumped on him, sibling goals...!

I snuggled my face closer to him missing that horrible smell of his. "I can't believe I actually missed having a smelly person around" I laughed hugging him tighter. "Well I can't believe I actually missed having an... ANNOYING person around" He laughed. I smiled grabbing my luggage and placing it in the car.

"Hayes bro! Happy early birthday!" Aaron smiled bro hugging him.

"Where are we off to this week?" I asked Hayes while I folded my clothes back in my closet. "Uhh about that Belle" He said scratching his head. "I don't think we can go, somewhere this year" He said sitting on my bed.

"Oh..." I said quietly. "Yeah I know, Aaron has invited me to go out with him" He said. "Can't we go after?" I asked. "But we're going on a trip, with all the other boys" He said. "Oh okay" I said as I stuffed my luggage under my bed.

"Maybe next year" He smiled. "Okay" I said blankly. He walked out to join Aaron and Nash with the video games. I sighed sitting on my bed, it's going to be a bad birthday. No one even knows it's my birthday. I just want to spend it with people I love which is definitely not going to happen this year.

I went on my laptop to continue my essays and studying.

I sat up from my bed realising I fell asleep with my laptop still on my lap. I checked the time and realised it was 12pm the next day.

I groaned closing my laptop and placing it away, I peeled the sheets off my legs and walked into my bathroom to shower. I changed into sweats and a plain shirt and walked back to my bed to continue my essay. Apparently it's due tonight and I have to submit it, I continued to type away.

It's stressful, I'm starting to regret going to Toronto. I have 3 more essays due this week and I haven't started most of them. I can't say I regret meeting Shawn and Aaliyah but I regret opening up to him, he knows me well only to chuck me away. He played me and lead me along, he had a girlfriend already... I started feeling my tears roll down my cheeks. I aggressively wiped it away and continued to type my essay.

"Malia?" I heard Hayes ask from my door. "What?"

"Well sorry to disturb you Mrs Grumpy" Hayes laughed walking in my room. He sat beside me on the bed. "Essays?" He asked. I nodded still focused on my work. "Stop stressing" He smiled rubbing my shoulder. "Go away" I said moving away from him.

"Look Malia, I'm sorry that we can't go this year" He said. "It's not that" I said looking at him. "Then what is it?!" He asked shouting. "Why did you allow me to go Toronto?!" I asked raising my voice again. "It was not my fault okay? I saw that he made you happy! I just wanted the best for you!" He screamed standing up. I stayed quiet.
