"This place is literally so pretty" I said admiring the area. Shawn was busy eating his muffin following me as I walked everywhere. "Mhmm" He said still looking at his muffin like it's God. I laughed shaking my head. "Gotta love em aye?" I laughed at him. "Oh yes" Shawn nodded eagerly. I saw a small fruit shop at the corner which made me sprint for my life. I ran into the shop and instantly started looking for bananas. "AHH!" I squealed when I saw the bananas. I sprinted towards it dodging all the people in the way. I immediately got a bag and stuffed in at least 5 bunches of 7 in it, so pretty such 35... Sorry not sorry "Malia!" Shawn called out as he caught up to me. "God, don't ever do that" He said panting. I smile innocently as I go to the counter.

"Well now I see that you like bananas A LOT" He laughed. I nod my head as I peeled one open and ate it. "Well where do you want to go?" He asked walking around, I gave him my bag of bananas and started running ignoring his question. Sorry not sorry... again. My Beats that were hung around my neck underneath my scarf was flopping around. "This is the best" I smiled wearing my Beats. "Do you not agree?" I asked going through my songs, I left it on shuffle and continued to walk. "Well I mean it's my hometown, it's not surprising" He laughed. "We need to go Australia" I said, it's been my dream to go there, seems like a nice place.

One of Shawn's songs came on, I never knew I saved his songs. Life of the Party was playing. "OH MY GOD!" I screamed listening to his voice. "This is you?! Holy shit no fucking way! I love this song!" I screamed swaying with the music, as the climax came I lost control completely. "WE DON'T HAVE TO ORDINARY, MAKE YOUR BEST MISTAKES. CAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO SORRY, SO BABY BE THE LIFE OF THE PARTY!" I sang dancing around with my banana still in my hands.

The song was over and I took off my Beats. "You have a beautiful voice" Shawn smiled at me. "Nah" I laughed grabbing the bag off of Shawn again. I felt like I could be myself in front of him, he made me feel comfortable and he doesn't judge. I completely love that, it made me feel better about myself. He's perfect and I could never judge him myself, he's a precious angel and I completely adore him. "Well you do." He smiled again wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. I smiled snuggling closer to him. He spun me around and held my hand. He went on one knee and held a banana like it was a ring.

"Malia Belle, will you have the honours to go on a second date with me?" He asked. I smiled at him grabbing the banana. "Of course!" I smiled widely. He started laughing standing up. "It's tonight! Don't need to wear something nice, just go casual" He said. I nod my head peeling the banana and eating it. "Awh Shawn, you make me feel special" I said eating the banana. "I try" He said proudly. I was glad he felt the same way, that he could be himself in front of me. He doesn't have to act like someone he's not to make me head over heels for him. "Thank you, seriously I can't thank you enough. For taking me here with you, for supporting me through my tough times and for just being.. You" I smiled. "Malia, no one has ever made me feel the way you do. Of course I'll support you through everything, I'll always be here for you" He smiled.

We made our way back home before 3pm. "Aaliyah!" Shawn roared running into the house. All I could hear is high pitch screams and footsteps. "Did you miss me?" Shawn asked tickling her. She was on the couch squirming in his arms. "Shawn!" She screamed giggling. I watch them two wrestle and have tickle fights, Shawn is a great guy. He cares so much for his family, it makes my heart melt. He's going to be a great dad and whoever has him in the future is one lucky person.

"Hey Malia, how was the exploring of this place?" Karen asked walking beside me. "Oh, it was wonderful. This place is amazing, I love it here" I smiled to her. "It's a cold place though" She laughed. "I love the winter" I smiled at her. "How's Shawn?" She asked wriggling her eyebrows. "What?" I asked laughing. "Come on, where's the juicy things" She laughed. I smile as my cheeks redden. "I mean he's a great guy, he really is." I said honestly. Like fuck, words can't explain how much he means to me and how much he has impacted my life.

"Without him, I'd probably be a wreck" I smiled. "He's impacted me so much, impacted my happiness. He was the first and only one to notice how I felt and I thought I had hidden that well. It means a lot to me to know someone out there other than my bro- cousin and my best friends are there for me. He makes me feel like.. I'm alive, like I'm living. Honestly I never got proper sleep for 4 years until he came. I feel like I honestly love him.." I said with wide eyes after realising what I said. Everything blurted out without me thinking. I didn't even realise I said all that.

"Awh, I'm happy I impacted you that much" Shawn said behind me making me jump. "What the BEEP Shawn!" I screamed, yes don't ask I do say 'beep' sometimes. "You heard it?!" I asked as I felt red to the face. He nodded smiling. I was so red I could explode, I was embarrassed and I was awfully ashamed for saying that, it was NOT a good thing if he heard what I said. I felt tears pricking near my eyes, Shawn's eyes instantly soften as he walked closer to me. I took a step back and sprinted away from him. I'm pathetic, why did I admit everything? In front of his Mum? In front of HIM! I ran through the front door opening it, the cold breeze blew past me making my shiver. Tears were spilling and streaming down my cheeks, I honestly don't know why I'm crying but I felt terrible.

"Malia" Shawn breathed out from behind. He grabbed my arms, I tried to free my arm from his grip but it was too strong. "Malia.." He said calmly. He pulled me closer to his chest, I dug my face closer sobbing my eyes out. "Shh, it's okay" He said softly rubbing my back and stroking my hair. It's not that I hated to say it, I was scared. I didn't know how much he meant to me or how I truly felt about him until now, until I actually said it. "Don't cry.. You didn't do anything wrong" He said softly. "I'm s-sorry. I was scared, I didn't, I didn't" I said trying to contain my sobs. "Shh Malia.. It's okay. Don't be scared, nothing will change a thing about us. Malia I love you" He said kissing my temple.
