"I'm sorry I had to ruin tonight" I mumbled playing with my fingers. I was wrapped in Shawn's blankets watching the television in his room, my back was against his chest. "It's fine, tomorrow we could go out together" He smiled intertwining our hands together. "I'm such a screw up, I'm sorry I said that and cried. I really didn't mean it, I was scared" I muttered. "Scared of what?" He asks. "I don't know, I've never said anything like that about anyone to anyone. It shocked me that I said it without me even thinking" I said. "I'm actually glad you said that because I might feel exactly the same way" He smiled warmly. "Also I want to ask, if it's okay. You don't have to answer it, I totally understand it" He said nervously. I smile again thinking of our first date.

"Why 4 years? That you haven't slept properly, Malia you know it's unhealthy" He says, I wanted to forget Nash. I didn't want anything to do about him while I'm here having fun for the first time. My eyes starts to water again, FUCK SAKES! I'm so sensitive, period warning for sure. I wipe my eyes as I felt it drip down on Shawn's hands. "Oh go-d, o-h my okay s-sorry, god I'm s-so sorry" Shawn said panicking, he wiped my tears quickly with his thumbs and brought me in hug and rocking me softly. He was shaky and did it all fast which made it quite funny for me. "It's fine" I smiled sniffing. "I'm just all over the place" I said. He nods still rocking me.

My phone started vibrating, I opened it and saw Hayes calling. "Hey" I said putting the phone on speaker. "How's it there?" He asked. "Great, god it's beautiful here" I laughed. "Well home is boring." He muttered. I laughed. "Well do you miss me?" I asked smiling. "Nah gross" He laughed making me pout. "S'cuse you" I laughed. "Love you, I got to go football" He said. "Love you too" I said ending the call. I sighed leaning on Shawn again who was asleep. I continued watching 'The Vampire Diaries'.

"Shawn! Malia!" I heard his Mum called from downstairs. "Dinner's ready" She said. "Okay!" I scream back. I unwrapped the blanket that was around me and chucking it beside Shawn who was still asleep. I sat up and shook Shawn slightly. "Shawn" I whispered lightly. He groaned, damn he must like his sleep. "Shawn" I repeated shaking him again. He quickly sat up straight away making me yelp. "Geez you scared me" I laughed holding my heart. He smiles rubbing his eyes, "You scared me" He said laughing. "I thought something happened to you" He said taking off the blanket that was on top of him.

"Dinner's ready" I said. He nods, I looked down at myself and I was still wearing my skinny jeans and jumper. Well damn Malia, how did you sleep in that? I laughed walking downstairs with Shawn. Instantly I smelt chickens making my mouth water. Shawn's family were seated at the table with chickens and chicken nuggets. I started sprinting towards the table and sat down. I smile at his Mum asking for permission to dig in. Well I didn't ask, I just gave her a look that meant it. "Go ahead Malia, knock yourself out" She smiled. My eyes brightened and I dug in. I grabbed 4 wings and 2 drumsticks, I grabbed a bunch of nuggets and chucked it on my plate.

"Slow down" Shawn laughed sitting next to me. Aaliyah started laughing at me as well as his parents. I smiled innocently at them with my drumstick still hanging out my mouth. I saw Karen hold up her phone taking a picture, since I was a poser, I held my hand up and did the thumbs up. Shawn quickly came in and kissed my cheek which made me smile wider. "Awe" Aaliyah cooed. Karen took the picture and put her phone away. "I see that you like chicken" Karen laughed. "Love my chicken as well as my bananas" I laughed taking a nugget. "Damn her bananas, she's crazy for bananas. When she saw the fruit shop today she ran to the bananas and I had to run after her. Chaotic" Shawn laughed eating his chicken.

"Have any plans tomorrow?" Manuel asked. "Yeah, Malia and I are going out to the beach and maybe if we have a chance we might go to the fair" Shawn smiled. "Fair?!" I ask excitedly. Shawn nods smiling. "Yay!" I squealed. I felt comfortable honestly, his family felt like mine. "That's great" Manuel smiled.
