I kept rubbing her back as she fell asleep. I cared for her as much as anyone, I'm glad I met her and brought her here with me. "Shawn honey" I heard my Mum whisper. I looked over at her and raised my eyebrow. "Aaliyah's done her test and last checkups, we're heading home now" She whispered smiling. I nodded my head and softly grabbed Malia's leg and pulled it closer around my torso. I placed my arms underneath her and pulled her closer to my body. I do this softly making sure I don't wake her up, I know she doesn't sleep as much.  I stood up and carefully walked out the room with Malia still on top of me.

I looked at our lugagges and bags thinking about what to do and how to carry it. "I'll take em" I heard my Dad say. "Thanks" I smiled to him. He nodded his head carrying it outside and into the car. I walk to the door and opened it carefully. I placed Malia on the seat carefully sitting next to her. I didn't want to wake her up by putting a seat belt so I wrapped my arms protectively around her. My parents got into the car and Aaliyah sat next to me. "Hey kiddo, how are you feeling?" I asked her. "Better than before that's a fact" She laughed. I smiled rubbing her head. "Shawwwn" She whined fixing up her hair. "I'm glad you're healthy again" I smiled at her.

"You haven't told us much about Malia" My Dad said. "Well what do you want to know about her?" I asked. "Everything" They laughed. "Well she's 17 years old and she's the sweetest person you'll ever meet" I said honestly. "Do you like her?" My Mum asked. I flushed red. "Mum!?" I whined. My mother just laughed at me. "Come on Shawn, we know you do" Aaliyah joked wiggling her eyebrows. "Well I went on a date with her" I said quietly. "Really?" My Dad asked. I nodded my head. "But I kind of ruined it.." I said biting my inner cheeks. "How so?" My Mum asked focusing on the road. "Well I got a phone call about Aaliyah and ran here" I said. "Yeah it was tonight, or yesterday night since it's 2:00 in the morning" I laughed. "Sorry" Aaliyah mutters. "Don't worry, it's fine. Malia is understanding, I'm going to make it up to her anyways" I smiled. "That's great" My Dad laughed.

Mum parked the car and we all piled out. I carried Malia carefully into the house and laid her on my bed. In my eyes, she was a complete angel. I smiled down at her as I covered her with my bedsheets. I walked downstairs and grabbed the luggages and bags to place upstairs in my room.

"Night Shawn!" Aaliyah screamed from her room. I laughed running into her room, I heard her squealing as she ran to hide in her bed. "Where's my hug?" I asked walking into her dark room. I crawled to her bed and sat on the edge. "Hmm Aaliyah? Where's my hug?" I asked again tickling her through the sheet. She squirmed around while laughing and squealing. "Sh- Awn, S-stopp" She laughed. "Never" I said evilly as I continue to hug her.

"Okay okay" She laughed gasping for air as she removed the sheets over her head. She stood on top of her bed and jumped onto me, tackling me on top of her bed. "Night Shawn" She laughed hugging me. I hugged her back as she climbed back into her bed. I pulled the sheets to her neck and tucked her in. "Night Aaliyah" I smiled at her, I plant a kiss on her forehead and walk back downstairs to my parents.

"It feels good to be back home" I sighed smiling. "How's Magcon?" My Dad asks. "It's great! I'm hoping I could go on my Handwritten tour soon, I'm just finishing up the album" I said. "That's good" He smiled. "Well it's been a long day, we're going to sleep now" My Mum said walking up the stairs. "Night Mum, night Dad" I waved to them before going into my bathroom. I showered and changed into sweats and a plain black shirt and hopped into bed with Malia.

I sat up finding myself on a bed, lying next to Shawn who was awake. "Morning" He smiled. "Morning" I smiled back. "Your room?" I asked looking around. "Yeah" He nodded. I look around seeing that it's obviously Shawn's room. Guitars hung on the walls and on the corner was an upright piano. He has a computer desk and 2 extra doors on the side. "Cool room, what's in there?" I asked pointing to one of the doors. "Studio room, well my mini one" He replied. "That's freaking awesome!" I laughed. "What about there?" I ask pointing to the other door. "Oh, it's the bathroom" He replied. "Cool" I nodded. He laughs at me, I give him a weird look. "What are you laughing about?" I asked him. He cracked up even more. "Stop" I whined smacking his shoulder. "What's so cool about a bathroom?" He laughed. A smile starts to creep in as I cover my face. "Awe don't worry, it's cute" He laughed pulling me against his chest. I dug my face closer to his neck.

"We need to go exploring even though this place is cold as fuck but still, I've never been here" I said snuggling in the blankets cause oh man was it cold! "Well you're shivering, you sure you still want to go out?" He asked rubbing my arms to make me warmer. I nod my head eagerly. I got out of Shawn's grip only to be pulled back. "No, a few more minutes" He said hugging me tighter.

I got out of Shawn's arms and walked to my luggage. I zipped it open and grabbed black skinny jeans and a plain black shirt. I walked in the bathroom and changed into my clothes after showering. I left my hair combed down and walked out. "Get up!" I yelled jumping on Shawn who was still in bed asleep. "Mmmm" He mumbled still half asleep. I straddled his waist and placed my arms on his chest. "Get up, get up" I repeated shaking him. He groaned lightly. "Wake up please" I begged whining. He didn't reply so I got off his waist and put on my grey sweater, it has 'OBEY' printed in white. I wrapped my black scarf over my neck and laced my converse.

"SHAWNNN!" I screamed smacking him with a pillow. "Get YO ASS out of the bed!" I yelled still hitting him. "Fine, I'll just go get some muffins without you" I said dropping the pillow and walking downstairs. I was greeted by his parents and Aaliyah. "Goodmorning sweetie" His Mum smiled at me. "Hey" I waved back. "Thank you for having me here" I smiled at them. "It's really nothing at all. As long as Shawn is happy then we're happy" She smiled. I felt welcomed, I really did. It started off tough but we're getting there. I'm starting to sleep more as well which I think is a big improvement. "WAIT NO MALIA I'M HERE" I heard Shawn yell from upstairs. A bunch of crashing sounds were heard. I saw Shawn still lacing his shoes while running down the stairs. He was panting and breathing heavily. He tripped over one leg and tumbled down the stairs. I laughed slightly shaking my head. "There there, I'm not that evil" I laugh helping him up.

"Where's the muffins?!" He eagerly asked. "Calm down bud, we're going to buy em now" I laughed. He pouts sticking his tongue out. I squeeze his cheeks laughing.
