Rafael's POV
I was yelling at Carisi about something when I seen her run up and hug him. Naomi.
I froze as Fin called Benson to let her know what was going on. She sat down and Carisi ran off to grab a tissue. She looked like she was in so much pain.
She stared up at me for a moment, "Please don't yell about me leaving..."
I almost broke down right there, the hurt in her voice. I sat in the chair next to her and took her hands in mine before she could pull them away.
"Cariño," she looked down and I squeezed her hands softly, "Who did this to you?"
Tears started streaming down her face and she shook her head, "He told me to t-tell you, watch yourself." She looked up into my eyes, "please Rafael, be careful."
I pulled her into a hug and blinked back tears. Carisi came back and I pulled away reluctantly so she could wipe her tears.
"Who did this Naomi?" Carisi got straight to the point but she just shrugged. Who is she protecting?
"I-I, I don't know who it was. I didn't see anything." She looks down and sniffles.
I reach to place my hand on her shoulder and she flinches away. "Naomi, who gave you the clothes?"

Naomi's POV
I never want to see Nevada again, so I don't plan on telling anyone anything. Sonny and Rafael both ask who it was but I claimed I seen nothing.
"Naomi, who gave you the clothes?" Rafael was looking at me intensely. He knew I was lying. I offered a shrug and kept my head down, I couldn't lie if I looked either one of them in the eyes.
"Do you want something to eat?" Amanda brings a cup of water and sits it in front of me.
"No, thank you." I force a smile up at her and she returns an equally awkward one back.
Olivia and Fin walk over to the table. "Naomi, can you come with me? I need to get you the hospital for some tests."
"No please," I say that too loud and almost everyone in the room looks at me. I step closer to Sonny and lower my voice, "please I just want to go." He sighs.
"I just need to do a few things before we can leave okay?" He tells me to sit at his desk and wait for him.
Rafael carefully sits down in the chair next to Sonny's desk and I lean close to him.
"Rafi please don't go home. Stay in a hotel or have them watch you or something please don't go home." I verbally trip and He hushes me.
"Naomi, why? Who told you to tell me this?" He looks at me and doesn't break eye contact until I do. Sonny comes back and I stand up.
"Naomi, you have to get an examination first. A rape kit and-" I cut him off before he can finish.
"No haha. No need I wasn't raped and I don't know who it was and no one has to worry. I'm completely fine and just want to go to sleep." I look up at Sonny pleadingly.
He sighs, "I'll talk to Benson."
I sit back down and fidget to avoid looking at Rafael again.
"Querido..." He puts his hand under my chin and tilts it up to face him, "please tell me what happened."
I bite my bottom lip and blink back tears as I try to concoct a lie, "I- Well I left your apartment and uh, I walked around the corner and I don't remember anything after that besides being knocked out." I didn't want to find out what would happen if I told anyone the truth.
He sighed and before he could speak, Olivia and Sonny showed up to take me to the hospital. Oh no, the jacket. Nevada's DNA must've been all over it. Why'd he let me keep it?

-------

After I had gotten plenty of exams and tests done at the hospital, they took me to that victims' interview room to get my story.
"I don't remember anything other than being knocked out, you have nothing to investigate." I kept trying to get them to back off but Olivia knew better.
"Naomi, we can catch this guy and make sure this mever happens again, you have to tell us the truth." She watches me intently and I just shake my head and shove my hands into the pockets of the NYPD jacket that replaced the leather one after my examination.
"It won't happen again unless he thinks I told you," I looked up at Olivia, trying my best to get her to understand. "Please, for the love of god, don't pursue this. I'm going to be fine."
She looked at me and nodded a little before Amanda bursted in the room from the door that connected to the Lieutenant's office. "Liv we got a DNA match from the sweater."
As Liv excused herself it left me in the room, alone, panicking. Oh no Nevada is gonna think I told, why would he leave me the jacket, his jacket?

-------

"I don't know a Diego!"
"Why was his DNA on the jacket you were wearing?!"
Sonny lost his patience with me, I knew he just wanted answers but I couldn't possibly give them to him.
Olivia took a break to see if him and Rafael could get me to tell them.
"Naomi please! We can make sure it won't happen again!"
"No you can't, you don't know what he'll do!"
"What who will do?!"
"Neva- No one! I don't know!"
Sonny and I were both standing at this point, yelling at each other. Rafael watched as I nearly gave up.
"Neva, who?" He chimed in, talking much quieter and calmer that made me miss the yelling from Sonny.
I turned around and faced a wall as involuntary tears started dripping down my cheeks.
"I don't know," I whispered quietly but loud enough so that they both heard me.
They let me sleep in the on-call room because I wasn't talking so I wasn't going anywhere. Why couldn't they just understand nothing terrible happened? I wasn't raped, I was roughed up a little bit. But of course, everyone's a victim.
The Diego guy ended up being one of the guys who knocked me out, but I told everyone I didn't immediately remember his face. Why was his DNA on the jacket? Did Nevada set this up...
They got tired of being nice and put me in the box, you know, the one for criminals.
"Sweetie you know more than you're letting on and you need to tell us." Amanda was playing good cop but Olivia, boy she was getting mad.
"Why can't I go? You've kept me hostage longer than they did, who's really making me the victim?" I cross my arms and lean back, looking out the one way glass I knew Rafael was watching me from.
"Who is they?! Do you know they could be harming other girls?!" Olivia was starting to make me uncomfortable with the way she paced around me, it felt like I had done something wrong.
"I don't know, he told me his name was Nick-" I remembered I had slipped the V in his name too, "Nick Voss, and all I remember is him letting me go at the F Train up in the heights, okay?" I thought I was pretty convincing.
Olivia and Amanda exchanged looks before letting me leave. "Go home, get some rest. We'll let you know if we find anything." Sonny had gone home from being at the precinct for over 24 hours so I had no choice of where to go. Liv released me into Rafael's custody, I felt like a child.
It was a long, silent ride to his apartment and a long silent elevator ride up. He barely let the door close behind me before he started.
"Can you just tell me what happened?"
I sighed and walked into the bedroom, realizing all the clothes I had, I brought with me that night. They were all evidence so I just fell onto the bed.
I heard glass clinking and I could just tell he had started drinking. To this point, I had never seen him get drunk. Just right at the border of delightfully intoxicated was where he'd stop.
I was almost asleep when I heard his footsteps approaching the bed, he was still wearing his dress shoes that clanked annoyingly against the hardwood. I turned and faced away from the door, trying to fend him off from bothering me.
"Did he," he had crawled onto the bed and put his hand on my arm, "touch you?"
I sat up and tears started gushing for the what? Fourth time today? Even when he was drunk and smelt like nothing but scotch, he still cared.
"No," I sniffled and smiled at him. A tear escaped his eye and ran down his cheek. I'd never seen him cry. "I can tell you that for sure, nobody even remotely got that far."
He pulled me into a hug and his breath slowly lulled me to sleep.
