Warning: Slight smut, srsly, someone stop me.

Nick bought me the cutest pair of blue fluffy slippers for $8, and now we were sitting at a bar. It was only around noon and we were both cheerfully tipsy.
Me munching some cheese fries while he was on the phone talking to his son, Gil, was the most fun I've had in a while. I had turned off my phone to avoid calls from Rafael and Sonny. Really wasn't trying to talk to either of them at this point.
"I'm gonna go back to my hotel room, I haven't slept since California." He smiled at me as he put his phone away.
For some odd reason, something inside me snapped in a sad way instead of an angry way. "Can I come with?" I stood and grasped onto his jacket sleeve. His confused look made me feel like an idiot but I didn't want to be alone, or go beg Sonny to stay with him. "Please."
"I-uh, yea." He stood and grabbed my hand in his, leading me out the bar. He hailed a cab and went on our merry way to his hotel room.
When we got there, I tossed my bookbag on the floor and sat in the chair in the corner of the room. Nick pulled his suitcase off the bed and flopped in the spot it previously was. He abandoned his jacket on the edge of the bed.
I watched him unintentionally as he got comfy, rubbing his eyes and propping his head up on the pillow behind him. Not realizing I was watching him until he smiled at me, "What?"
"What?" I repeated as my face started feeling hot. "Sorry."
His smile got wider and he patted the bed next to him. "Come here, you don't wanna fall asleep in the chair."
So I did, and we both fell asleep next to each other. We woke up in each other's arms, and awkwardly around the same time.
I expected him to pull away but instead he pulled his arms tighter around me and laughed a bit. "What time is it?"
I shrugged since I was still too tired to talk, but it had gotten dark outside. He turned to lay on his back, pulling me on top of him so we'd still be touching. Whining about being disturbed, I placed my legs so that one was on either side of his hips. My head rested on his chest as he reached to the now accessible side table for his phone. I was attempting to fall back asleep to the thumping of his heart against his chest.
"Naomi, can I ask you something?" Nick had placed his hands on my lower back after he put his phone back down. All I did was nod in reply. "What went wrong between you and Barba?"
I sighed softly and sat up. Settling on his stomach, I crossed my arms. "I'm not even quite sure. He had the number of some skank and after assuring me there was nothing there, she showed up at his office this morning. After the guy finger-fuc..." I looked down and laughed a little. "He just suddenly brought up the fact I'm young and shouldn't be wasting my time."
When he didn't reply, I looked up to see the sympathetic look on his face. "I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault." I was trying my hardest not to start crying and look like an idiot. Then it all hit me, the man who I've been living with. The man who helped me pass the bar and opened up opportunities. The man who unintentionally got me kidnapped. The man who my older cousin looked up to. That very man ended what has been my life for the better half of this year.
It hit me like a ton of bricks.
A few tears dropped onto Nick's shirt before I excused myself and attempted crawling off from on top of him. But he grabbed my wrists and used me as leverage to pull himself into a sitting up position.
He held my wrists just tight enough to pull me forward, bringing his lips to meet mine. He released one of my wrists in favor of tangling his hand in my hair. I yanked my other hand free to wrap my arms around his neck, pulling myself closer to him.
My head cleared as he ran his tongue across my bottom lip. Granting access, I parted my lips and welcomed his tongue to meet mine. He used the hand not occupied in my hair to push my lower half into his growing bulge. I let out a small whimper before realizing that I was pushing my hips against him.
I pulled away and watched him as he pulled his bottom lip between his teeth. He released the grip he had on my hair and moved his hand to neighbor the other on my hips.
We breathed heavily onto each other's skin before he hungrily flipped us over so that he was on top. His hands moved up to my back and he pulled my body up slightly to meet his as he kissed down my neck.
"Nick wait..."
His grazing kisses paused and he immediately looked up at my face. "I'm sorry, do you want me to stop?"
I giggled a little, "Oh God no. But I just wanted to know if you're doing this because you feel bad for me."
"Of course I'm not." He smiled and swooped his head back down to keep nipping and kissing my neck. He had just started to pull the hem of my shirt up when, ring ring ring.
He groaned and reached for his phone, still maintaining his position on top of me.
"Huh?... Yea... Why's it matter?... I'll let her know... Bye." Nick tossed the phone back to the table and leaned down to my ear. "Carisi sounds pretty mad at you sweetheart."
I laughed as he bit softly on my earlobe while continuing pulling my shirt up. "Can't wait to deal with him."
Pulling my shirt off, he ran his hands along my sides, lower and lower until they rested on my hips. "But dealing with him will have to wait, won't it?"
I nodded as he pulled his head up from the crevice between my shoulder and neck to kiss my lips again.
This was bound to be fun.

Nick and I had our fun but when it came time to leave, I found myself regretting it. He had to go spend time with his son. I couldn't blame him but I really didn't want to deal with anyone.
Being the nice guy he was, Nick split a cab with me and dropped me off at the SVU precinct so I could talk to Sonny. When I went in, the squad and Rafael were standing around the window into the box from Olivia's office.
Sonny glanced over and the small smirk on his face left as he started walking towards me.
"Ya just gonna sleep with everyone I work or have worked with?" He wasted no time getting a fight started, as well as drawing the attention of everyone else.
I made a face of disgust and he stood in front of me, arms crossed. "Excuse me?"
"I was on my way to get you and Barba tells me you left with Amaro?" He raised his voice to an unnecessary volume.
I laughed, "Did your pal Barba tell you why?" I gestured to Rafael, who was creeping up slowly behind Sonny.
"Why you left and spent the night with a guy you don't know?" He threw his hands up dramatically. "Nope, didn't tell me that. Why don't you?"
Olivia snuck her way between Sonny and I. "Why don't you guys talk about this elsewhere? Carisi, take an hour."
Sonny nodded as he bit the inside of his cheek, "Okay Lieutenant, come on Naomi."
The entire way to the elevator, he yelled. Down to the lobby, he yelled. In the cab, he yelled. He yelled all the way into his apartment until I was finally comfortable yellimg back.
"My life is none of your concern Sonny! I can do whatever, and whoever I want!" I threw my bag down and watched the disgust in his face at my comment.
"If it's none of my concern, then why do you keep asking to stay with me since you can't find your own job or place to stay?" He stomped into his kitchen and started scouting through the fridge.
I shook my head and fell back on his couch. "I'll just move back to Staten Island."
He suddenly let some empathy shine through his anger. "Naomi, you don't wanna do that." He was settling into the seat to the left of his couch.
I smiled at him, laying across the couch and cuddling up with a throw pillow. "I don't know Sonny, I just wanna take a nap."
"Okay well, I have to head back to work, you stay here."
I nodded as he left.
