Armens POV

The baby dragon was so cute! It had a lot of energy as well. Drake had been awake for a while. The dragon seemed to be interested in him. He would nudge Drake and give him this playful and curious look. Trying to come up with a name was harder than I thought.

"What do we name him?" Grayson asked.
I looked into it eyes. It stared back. I noticed how it's eyes were purple likes drakes Ender eye. It sat in Grayson's lap and starts to fall asleep. This was the first time I saw it sleep and it hatched three days ago.

After about five minutes of listing names me Mia and Grayson couldn't think of anything. Drake has remained quiet. Maybe he was thinking.

"Syrith? It delvina(random name for language I came up with) for dragon." Drake said, looking at Grayson.

"Syrith. I like that! Welcome to the group, syrith." Grayson smiled as syrith looked up at him curiously. He seemed to like the name too as he let out a tiny squeak in response.

A/N: I wanted to thank Sumalinara for helping with the name.

I smiled. Maybe there is hope for us after all. I know it will take time before he can do anything since he is just a baby but I know that if the empire some how got to him, he wouldn't do anything for them because he's already bonded to Grayson since he was the first one he saw when he hatched. The empire wouldn't kill syrith too. So there is hope.

Mia's pov
We needed to get moving soon. Drake was up on his feet. Probably a little painful but he's up. Syrith hoped in Grayson backpack and feel asleep with his head sticking out. It was cute.

Walking felt nice for once. It was cool outside. Fall weather. Trees have started turning an assortment of colors. Reds, greens ,yellows, oranges and add some color to the world. A slight breeze blew from the east. And everything was peaceful for the time being. I could finally relax for a while.

Time skip

"Mia you awake?" Armen said quietly. I turned to look at him.

"I am now" I responded while rubbing my eyes. The sun peeked over the horizon. It casted a orange glow to the darkened sky as light and dark collided and merged into each other.
"Sorry" he whispered back "come on get up."

'Ugh' I got up. Getting our thins we quickly ate breakfast and stared moving. I put on my jacket because it was colder today than it was yesterday. Could winter already be coming. Syrith got back in Grayson bag and would peek his head out every now and then. He had peeked his head out again. He had looked behind me with a concerned expression before ducking his head back down.

"Uh Grayson." I turned around. We all stopped as there was a man behind us. He looked exhausted like he had been  traveling for a while.

"Excuse me? Are you Grayson." We all turned to Grayson who looked shocked.

"Yes..." He stuttered.

"I've come from the empire. There has been a great rebellion and we had a grip on victory but lately we have been struggling with one of our leaders killed. The new head leader wants you to join him and help win this fight. Commander Luke wants you by his side. He believes with you we an finally end this. The emperor is ill and weak " the man continued.

"L-Luke?" He took a step back.
